How To play the basics

Ok so here is my basic strat for the main game
1) beats- feel them in the pad to get the timing right don’t rely on your eyes. I found the quickest way to get the game going was to get a few good multipliers.

2) 10 secs left, no matter how awesome the combo even if your at 1999 abort at ten seconds this way you will be able to respawnd collect every thing you need (it takes 3 secs to respawn, and you get 3 sec shield).

3) Don’t get greedy, as much as you need power ups you don’t want do die more, dieing resets your quickness and you multiplier, just learn the timing after a couple of games and firing when you at 00:020 will come as standard.


With this you should easily get into the trillions

i have a few tips for Revenge mode.

1) When the game starts off fly around destroying all the enemies you can until your weapon is fully upgraded. I used the front spread setup.

2)After that you can just spin the joystick firing at whatever you can see.

3)When you get to the mini bosses just dodge the bullets and fire at them.

4)The bosses at the end of every 5 levels fire in a very distinct and avoidable pattern just notice the pattern and dodge and shoot.

***And remember, the A button is your friend. Never let it go.

for R4 you can actully use the stick to shoot jst go into optionas r4 and move the right stick when your over fire its easyer i find when your on bosses

thnx. i will have to try that. i made it to level 50 yesterday and got game over. sucks cause i was doing pretty good.

i found the end of every five levels boss tough whts your plan against him

well when you get to the level 5 bosses just look at their pattern of fire and just bob and weave while shooting. the first 5th level bosses(lvls 1-25) all have the little orbs surrounding them shooting. they will start shooting in an arcing pattern just shoot dodge the arc and shoot again. the second 5th level bosses(lvls 26-50) all shoot their bullets themselves. they constantly aim a little higher. just shoot til one of the bullets gets in your path and move up a little and shoot until another bullet gets in your path. i will add more strategy as i progress. hope this helps.

what level did you find easiest for getting the 10 consecutive beats, i suck at getting those.

my basic strat: time is your friend, always keep your time from like 2:15 - 3:00, i would go higher, but the max time is 3:00 :(

i don't really worry about the blue and purple power ups until i have a reasonable amount of time to screw around in. on the first stage, blow yourself up next to the big flower things, they usually can give you extra shield time power ups so you can scavenge the time-adders. i usually blow myself up when my autoshield has 1 second left so i don't risk dying.

Well the 10 consecutive beat bonus achievement can only be acquired in time limited mode. and yeah no quickens makes it easier and feeling the rythm in the controller works well too.

Putting in some music that you like and know well will also help. I've ran into time restraints with work and my breaks but i've managed to get 11 trillion in about 25 minutes keeping a good beat, gathering all the quicken and going for those silly lil bonus pt items

I myself am a drummer, and I find that this game is all about the beat, which is awesome.

That head nodding thing is a good idea for this game
