Let me start off by saying that the Dynasty Warriors series is awsome. But with this title I was disappointed. The game itself has alot of potiental in the fact that it is about Gundam but, i feel they didn't do it. First of all the space and land battles aren't any diffrent, the story arcs are great if your watching it on t.v, and the game play has its flaws. I give the game its kudos on multiplayer even though they did not use xbox live to the fullest. Even though the regular Dynasty Warriors games have been called repetitive they still bring a level of fun to the gamer, unlike this game. The story arcs were confusing for me, a gamer who never really watched all the episodes, and often started you off and left you confused. Shooting in this game is complete crap.
I rent this game, much to my now extreme happiness, based souly on the words Dynasty Warriors.

I rate this 4/10. What about you?

I agree. I really wish I hadn't wasted $60 on this. I love the Dynasty Warriors games, and I enjoyed the demo, but this game was mediocre.

I'd probably give it a 5/10, it wasn't terrible, but wasn't great either.

I'm usually a big fan of the dynasty series and have played through them all including this one. I have to say this one is by far the worst. It had potential with it being a fresh new game but thats about as far as it made it. The enemies felt like they could take way to much damage even with a maxed out pilot/mech. Not enough level variety and super repetitive. I was glad when I finally finished off this unpolished turd.

DAM i was seriously thinking about getting into this series and that this game would be enjoyable because my friend played it like 2 days straight for the gamerscore and wasn't complaining so i thought it was actually good:p

The achievements seem quicker than the others...even though there is that shoot down 100,000 enemies, which looks really time consuming, I've seen most people finish the game in 2-3 days.

A lot of games don't necessarily hit it big the first time around. I know KOEI has done DW and SW but they may have been trying a new approach here since humans and gundams have their massive differences. I'd say the battling systems and such could use some work but if normal machine guns easily beat gundams, then most of the series would be boring. And if people are truly interested in the character backgrounds, youtube is a beautiful place.
I'd give the game a 7 or 8. I'd rate it higher if they hadn't changed Domon's voice actor.

it took me 44 hours to get all the achievements. 2 days is complete BULL-CRAP

anywho I liked this game for the super awsome SP attacks and the musha gundam suite you get after beating the game. The colorfulness of this game was cool too.

6/10

This game while not as good as say 5, did a few things WAY better.
Now playing co-op I don't have magical spawning troops since this was only the newer generation consoles. I enjoyed it, made me remember some of the series. This isn't the worst in the Warriors series, go play Samurai Warriors 1. This game majorly gets points from the LONG draw distance over the others... but yeah overall i'd give it a 7.

Honestly? I hate this game. :(

The only reason I'm playing it is a stubborn sense of pride that tells me I should be halfway decent at Warriors games after 5 years.

That, and apparently a hatred of myself, forcing me to keep playing this tripe.

The characters are annoying (one minute "wah help me!", the next minute shit talking the opposition due to your victory), the missions are annoying (defend A! defend B! hurry over here! now over there! BWAHH SURPRISE ATTACK!), the story makes no sense, and the combat is far more clunky than the other Warriors games of late.

I hate this game. Please make it stop. :(

I'm struggling a bit to keep playing this. I really liked the Samurai/Dynasty/Orochi games, but this one feels kind of lazy in comparison. I don't like that there's no character progression, all you can do is improve a few stats... you can't learn new combos, find new weapons, so instead of looking forward to building up a character, after their first mission I've kind of had my fill of them and want to move onto another.

Thought I'd be getting 1000G, but I doubt I can sit through 100+ missions. Urgh.

I'm actually quite hooked on this game as of late (got it for xmas). I really do need to get a move on with the story though (6 Official Mode Complete, 3 Original Mode Complete)

I give it 7/10 for now.

This game is really fun.

The only thing more entertaining than people hitting other people...

Is people hitting other people with swords!

And here's a game that has Giant Robots hitting other Giant Robots with Laser Swords!

I say that the reviews posted above aren't honest reviews of the game but rather honest reviews of what it was like trying to get a 1K gamerscore out of your rental.

The game is like playing an anime.

If you like Giant Robots with Laser Swords you're really missing out if you don't have this game.

It's repetative but then so's flipping HALO where all you do is shoot people.

It's really fun if you like Giant Robots with Laser Swords and if you can get it at a discount price you should snap it up.

Im a big DW fan and a recent SW fan. having issues with the inverted camera, it wont change even with saving etc.

That's really annoying but there's a very easy way around it.

Simply tap the LB button to centre the camera.

Suddenly the game becomes enjoyable.
