So after the draft and a few trades and pick-ups I had quite the team if I say so myself, save for defense. However, everything has changed rapidly. Talent-wise I'm pretty set, but everyone is getting hurt and I'm running out of a bench room. So I've entered crisis mode and I need your help.

Team (S = Starter, B = Bye, I = Injured/Suspended, CC = Can't Cut))

QB's:

Brett Favre (S)
Ben Roethlisberger (B)

RB's:

Steven Jackson (I) (CC)
Travis Henry (Soon I) (CC)
Thomas Jones (S and it kills me)
Chester Taylor (S and it kills me)
Dominic Rhodes (S and it kills me)
LaMont Jordan (I)

WR's:

T.J. Houshmandzadeh (S) (CC)
Anquan Boldin (I)
Andre Johnson (I)
Jerricho Cotchery (S)
Lee Evans (B)

TE's:

Dallas Clark (B)
Ben Watson (S)

K's:

Neil Rackers (S)

D's:

Arizona (S)

Any suggestions as to improve my injured team? This week I'm basically just getting bye; everyone who isn't starting is hurt or in a bye week. What can I do to fix this? Any waiver wire suggestions?

Very nice. Dallas Clark is a huge pick up and having Favre is pretty nice. I'm really digging your run back core though. Unfortunately your best runner, Lamont Jordan, is injured. Do you know if he's playing this weekend?

I'm hoping he is playing because lamont is on my team. First off Chester Taylor starts? I'm not a big Vikes can so I could be wrong but don't he split time? I don't think it would be worth it to keep him. I understand if you just have him now because of your situation. I would keep Boldin because he is injured but with Warner coming in I see him putting up big numbers. How long is Henry suspended? I wouldn't keep him. Looks good overall. Nice team =]

how many rb's do you start each week? 2 or 3? either way, i hope you are in a 12 or 14 team league, otherwise you are in rough shape.

your wr's are really good; when they PLAY. ;) andre johnson will be back soon, and i think boldin will too so just hang on tight for awhile. OR, trade one of your TEs and get another good WR—you could use one bad, and you do not need both TEs as much as you need another healthy WR.

for RBs, Henry can still play this week and do well. Jordan is out, Rhodes will split with Fargas, and Taylor splits with A.Peterson. so, you are in big trouble here. not sure why you didn't grab Steven Jackson's backup when he got hurt, but oh well. You have to either start Henry and Rhodes or go get Fargas and start him with Henry.

the Arizona D is good (in fantasy terms) and has a nice matchup as well, so you are ok there. and you are obviously ok at K and TE too.

EDIT: before picking up Fargas or deciding on a RB combo, let me help you with some nice picks this week. if any of them are available, go get em cuz theyre starting. ;) in order of importance, in my opinion:
1. K. Watson, CIN (Rudi is hurt), 2. J. Wright, CLE (Jamal Lewis may be out as well), 3. S. Young, DEN (you HAVE to grab him if he is still available, cuz he will be replacing Henry when he gets suspended), 4. E. Graham, TB (starting by default cuz of too many injuries), 5. L. White, TEN (slowly taking the bulk of the load), 6. D. Wynn or V. Morency, GB (both will get some good points this week)

You're Welcome. :)

Is it definite that Lamont is out this week?

Excellent call. I think he was just put on waivers, too. Buh-bye Lee Evans (For one week. He doesn't play well until Week 8 so I don't think he'll be claimed.)

I know my running back situation isn't good right now but there's not really anything I can do to change it. Steven Jackson really has no desire to play and Travis Henry's probably done for the year, so it really, really killed me when when LaMont got hurt. When I set my draft log the guys I'm starting were either extreme emergency backups or playing the Dolphins. I never honestly expected to start Dominic Rhodes; I picked him up chiefly so someone else couldn't get him. And I really didn't have the roster space for Brian Leonard. I needed Evans last week and this week the Rams play the Ravens, so he's kind of out of the question.

Edit: Wright was picked up an hour ago. How's Michael Turner looking?

Is it definite that Lamont is out this week?

I think ESPN referred to him in their ticker as "Unexpected to Play." So he's basically a no-go, unfortunately. He usually does well against San Diego.

Alright, I need some help with my fantasy football team. I have 4 QB's on my team. I don't know why and I just realized I had that many. Now, I have David Garrard,Kurt Warner,Brian Griese and Drew Brees. Who should I start? I was thinking Brees baecause last week he had over 200 yards and 2 touchdowns and they are playing the Falcons this week. Kurt Warner is Questionable for sunday's game also. So, who do you guys think I should start?

Well Steven Jackson is making his return in Week 8, Boldin is back this week. Andre Johnson is out again so pick up his backup Kevin Walter, who imho will break out. Keep Thomas Jones on the squad and try and trade around for a solid RB. Taylor is worthless no offense, Peterson has taken that spot and will only lose it if he is injured (possible). For D, look to pickup Kansas City D they have been allowing few points and getting turnovers. Atlanta, Green Bay, Buffalo, are also some other solid-decent D's.

You have to start Brees. It is your best bet this week I think... and who knows, maybe last week he finally WOKE the fuck UP. ;)

I would drop Warner. Not worth it IMO.

I would drop Warner. Not worth it IMO. Yeah he's a bum. He only played well because there was competition. I guarantee he doesn't lose sleep over whether Tim Rattay can take his job. Look for 200 Yard, 1 Touchdown, 2 Interception efforts from now on.

Also, someone in my league dropped Fred Taylor. Should I cut Dominic Rhodes lose and get him or learn from my mistake in picking up a player hurt for an indefinite amount of time (Andre Johnson)?

Well when he played(dunno if he did this year) do they let him get the goaline TD's or they give them to jones?

Ok, I gotta question.

Donte Stallworth or Calvin Johnson??

I also have Boldin and Torry holt but I think I should start both of them this week.

I also have Boldin and Torry holt but I think I should start both of them this week. Stallworth is questionable, but he's playing the Dolphins. See how CJ's recovered. It's so hard to tell with Patriots guys who aren't Tom Brady. One week they're stars, the next losers.

And I'm sitting Boldin in favor of Travis Henry, even though he's playing Pittsburgh and they've not yielded a 100 yard rusher in two years. If Warner is quarterback this will change, but if it's Rattay it's not worth the risk.

Finally keeping Frank Gore paid off. He got me 32 points and the day isn't even over. Thanks for telling me to keep him. :)

It did, thankfully. I picked up Chester Taylor when AP got hurt and he threw me out a 30+ point game last week and now I'm in 2nd place in the league and playoffs.

You guys are fantasy pros :)
