Good Game?

hello everybody...i have always been a big fan of crash bandicoot but reading through the achievements and what not but couldnt get a feel for the game experience. if its anything like the ps1 game types, i think i would love it. any suggestions from those who've played?

EDIT: i understand there is a demo but ATM i have no room on memory for the demo or deletion of prior saves. anyways, thanks!

I was a little disapointed in how DIS-similiar it was. I was really looking forward to another Crash 3. I really liked that game, and this one is quite different. Does anyone else actually get annoyed at how Crash comunicates? He doesn't talk, but makes (i guess you'd say) baby noises. I think that is so stupid.

Actually Crash does speak in the game .. i won't ruin it for ya but you gotta beat the game and watch the ending cutscene you will hear him speak .. HEHE !

yeah the game itself is preatty easy to beat .. the only hard thing about it is the numerous things you have to do to get 1000 .. but thankfully most of the creatures respawn themselves so its very easy to unlock the skins. and jacking the three bosses 5 times each takes some time , cause you have to play through the episode to get to the boss but the episodes they are on are very short .. but you gotta do it to get the full 1000

I was a big fan of the old crash bandicoot. Despite what reviews and such say. I find this game enjoyable. I havent played it as much as I would like to due to other great titles that have recently come out and will be coming out. But Crash is a great change of pace. The achievements arent to much of a challenge, but the game does have replay value

i hear ya there rapture .. this game is nothing like the other Crash games if you liked the first couple of Crash games then you'll like this one, not much different at all it really reminded me of the older PS1 Crash games.

ya number your on my friends and i kept seeing you play crash and first on this site to get 1000 nice job but i wanna rent this how many hours do you think i need to put into this to get 1000/1000 or 900+?

its a good game, id say above average, it is a action platformer and they work very well together ahcheivments are just right in difficulty, not to easy but any 1 can do them. the new types of monsters come along at just the right time controling bosses aint as fun as it could be (mainly on hard difficulty as they attack more) cuz most bosses are very slow and when u have masses of puny things around u it can get difficult to pull off an attack when they keep interupting your attacks, each monster has at least 4moves... normal attack (X), anti block attack (Y) super anti block attack (hold Y) and timer attack (a) some have many with combos with X, only every 2 Y attacks, sometimes u can combine A attacks, E.G snipe u can hold RT and push A to lock on targets (up to 4) let go off a and watch 4missiles hunt the poor AI down and whack em 1, normaly theres 5-6 attacks each, varing from 4-7. its a good game few unlockables replay value to the extent of just trying it a differnt way, u cna make a "SuPeR hArD" mode by trying to complete as much of the game on hard, only using crash, (apart from places such as boss fites, and smashable walls) and collecting as few as possable mojo (altho i doubt any 1 can do that :P)
id give it a 7/10 altho online co-op would of easily made it a 9.5 / 10 P.S if your having trubble on fites as u keep losing lifes and restarting play co-op keep the second player at the back when u die u respawn without losing a life as long as either of u are alive, also good as u can get your mum to play if u are really having trubble, altho she sux ass at games she can take the hits :P

Anyway it took me about 10 hours to get the full 1000 .. i would load the game up and tell ya the exact amount of time it took but its already gone back to the rental store !!
