Chainsawing is not noobish in any way if you are going for the achievement or if someone is stupid enough not to see you coming...

Grenade taggin is the same as above in gears if it is only for the achievement...does everyone seem to forget that there are achievements for those or something?

Gamesaving would also be a good one, but they don't actually play anything so they are below noobism.

People still complain about grenade tagging and chainsaw? Wow-wee-woo. I can't really have a top 5 because everyone is a "noob" at some point. The most annoying things people can do that are just cheap:

1) Camping
2) Camping
3) Camping
4) Camping
5) Camping

The lamest thing anyone can do. I hate it with the passion and it happens so much especially in Call of Duty games. Makes me want to rip off their arms and beat them with it.

I don't see camping as such a bad thing so long as it isn't spawn camping. Afterall the point of many games is to win, the best way to do that is have a tactical advantage. Sieze a good position and keep it. Plus snipers usually stay put in a few places, but rarely is that called camping.

The developers should just have better maps where there are fewer positions that are impenetrable but offer a good spot to kill from so that if someone sets up camp in one they could be taken down with a sneaky grenade from behind or something.

Not even spawn camping. Camping as a whole is horrible. There are people who actually wait a good 2-3 minutes in a corner until someone runs by. It slows down the pace of the game for me because then I have to slowly go around every corner then that leads me to dying because people are zipping all through the level. And you know, snipers are fine but it's annoying when almost EVERYONE is camping in buildings. It just slows down the pace of the game way too much. Well thankfully for COD4 it wasn't like that but COD3.. wow. I hated playing anything other then CTF. Everyone just grabbed the sniper and sat in a building. And since there wasn't any kill cam like there was in COD2 or 4, everyone could just sit there.

The only real noob thing i can think of is when people use smoke in Shadowrun. Only thing that does is prolong your death. means you are going into fights and planning on running away when your obviously going to get mowed down by my mini-gun. That is what i brought gust for ;) Anyways sry for that, just thinking back to all of the noobs i killed in SR.

I don't usually mind camping, especially if it benefits the goal of the team. Guarding hostages as a terrorist or the bomb sites as a CT in Counter-Strike as an example. Besides, if someone wants to sit in the corner of a map all day and waste their time go ahead.

Anyways, my list in no particular order:

1. Quitting early or disconnecting from a game to save your precious record
2. Spawn camping, though usually that's just poor map design from my experience
3. Team-killing or playing just to ruin everyone’s fun
4. Calling someone a n00b for using a tactic that is completely legit, only because you don't like it or consider it cheap
5. Belittling anyone. Trash talk is fine and sometimes needed to bring someone’s ego down a notch, but there is a line that shouldn't be crossed

Well, for me, quitting isn't bad. The only time I quit is in a social match when I get an invite, or when playing a ranked match in Gears. Why? Because ALL my team mates quit out, it's a 19 round game, it's four against one, they down me and t-bag me, I stand up, same thing twice.

As for camping, it's a strategic aspect of the game. Look at Battlefield 2. In order to win, you need to capture five strategic points, but most matches end up with a team controlling four and the people with the most points camp in the hot spots of the match.

Now, for my top five noob things:

1. Trash talking after loosing a match. Now, I understand that if you lost by one kill, you can call out the lucky card. But loosing by 25+ points is a whole other story. " You guys were just lucky. Stupid Spicks go back to Mexico." I play with my friends and that's the usual comeback that we get after winning by more than 20 points.

2. Cheating. It's a freaking game. It sucks getting glitched or someone using stand by[happened to me in Halo 3 CTF]. Now, it wouldn't be as bad if the guy wasn't bragging about it. " You're crying because I used stand by."

3. Quitters, just because they might loose legitimately.

4. Calling dibs on a weapon and they suck with it. Someone calls dibs on Spartan Laser. He wastes three shots with it on ONE guy and misses them all. Then he gets sniped. I pick up the laser, and with two shots, I kill three people. Go figure. Then, when I pick up the Spartan Laser he team kills me.

5. Team Killing. I only team kill with friends, because they know I'm joking and recognize that no matter what we do, we'll win. But, team killing for a weapon or to score a flag is just retarded.
