Needing help

I'm stuck on a mission i think is called night raid. I've just done the elephant and i think its 2 missions away from this. Now its quite an odd section so i'll try my best to describe it. I'm sure i've just saved 2 maidens in this one section, and its not all that far from the start from the start of the level. There also those 3 blue circles that icrease your magicbar and theres a large boulder that when you knock this over, blocks one of the blue circles, meaning if you push this over, it stops your chance of increasing your magic. Now i've climbed onto the boulder and then onto some scaffolding. Here i manage to jump up a level where there is a health jar, and then i jump across onto the roof of the scaffolding. Heres where i'm stuck, there something blocking the end and i can see behind me where it looks i'm supposed to jump, because there is a save point in there. Only problem is when i try and jump i can't catch onto anything, and end up falling back onto the boulder. Is there something i'm missing? a ledge or another path, or am i going completely the wrong way? help would be much appreciated.

There is a ledge where one of the monkeys came out..

I don't remember seeing any monkeys, I think i've done this part, so it's a bit later on where i'm stuck.

At the end of the scaffolding on top where you can see the save point you have to jump to the wall on the left side of the save point and climb up and right then onto scaffolding above save point and jump down. You cant jump to where the save point is.
