Normally I would be like F**k the Haters BUT as a true Trojan and fan of everything USC I can honestly say that the past two weeks the Men of Troy have absolutely sucked Ballz. At least LSU is losing....there's still a little hope.....otherwise....and I say this with a heart full of remorse...Cal Golden Bears all the way.At least keep it in the Pac-10

So, honestly, did anyone think Ohio State would be the #3 (possibly even #2) team in the nation at any point this season?

Okay. University of Southern California is terrible. I have been waiting all season for this to happen, and lo and behold Stanford beat them. Finally. The Pac 10 is such a joke, and I think California should just go out and dominate everybody. Everybody else in that conference is just so hit and miss.

If you want real football, look at the S.E.C. Go Cocks!

What's better... App State beating Michigan or Stanford beating USC?

Ohio State IS good. Don't doubt that. They are in a good conference and they have played great. I mean, they were a great team last year, why not this year?

crazy you should use the edit button. It's fun.... What a crazy game. That 12 men on the field penalty came up and I thought it was over. I will have to say that this is a bigger upset than the Michigan game because USC was #2....Michigan, while they were ranked, were a PRE-SEASON favorite. No rankings can determine how your team will perform before the damn season so for all we know Michigan could have been a team of schlubs....as they are. So this is a bigger upset, especially breaking a 35-game home win streak, and 24-game home streak in the Pac-10.....

wow. and everyone was saying the pac 10 was so much better, and that usc 0wnz. yeah right, hahahahahahahahaha. lsu would demolish them. I honestly think USC doesn't practice for these games. You look at the USC that played Idaho, Washington, and Stanford and you look at the USC that played a Nebraska team many thought would upset them and it's a huge difference.

Also, this was the Stanford quarterback's first game ever.

Also also, Notre Dame won. Maybe it was just opposite day or something. Colt Mccoy actually played alright against Oklahoma, so I wouldn't throw this theory out the window.

honestly, usc is like any other collegiate football team: they're not going to be perfect every year. some years will be good, and some will be bad, theyre having a down year this year. but then again, people expect so much out of you when you've been ranked #1 since 1910 in every pre-season poll around.

i wouldnt call it really a down year. they will still probably have 10 or 11 wins (hopefully 10...go Oregon). I swear to god though, Stanford lives for taking down the big teams. they do this more than most people notice. makes me nervous everytime my team plays em.

I got a friend that goes to Stanford. He partied so hard when he found out they won.

What's better... App State beating Michigan or Stanford beating USC?

Stanford beating USC is the bigger upset. App State has won D-II championship two years in a row now. They know how to win and they run the spread, like Oregon, which absolutely kills Michigan's defense. App State would beat at least half the teams in D-I. But still, even with two losses, if Michigan wins out we can still go to the Rose Bowl. Go Blue!

uh, are you kidding me? they might know how to win, but they're a div. II-A school. hello? stanford is almost always a .500 team every year, and almost always have a close game with usc. the same way with cal, except they're doing a bit better than .500 this year. anytime a top 25 div. I-A school schedules a div. II-A school, they expect to roll over them, but this wasn't the case. it showed how weak michigan's defense really was, and that anyone could beat them.

Mindless..??

If you can take in enough air to comprehend that Stanford also has a strict academic policy. Poor grades = no football. I don't think you'll find this at USC...which leads me to believe that with your eloquent voabulary you're not a Stanford alum.

That is why USC is ranked #2. Now everyone is going to want to beat Stanford because
Stanford > USC. If you can beat Stanford, you can beat the team that is better than USC.
