Worst 360 game!

Who here agrees that Csi is the most bootleg game out right now for 360. It really has no right being published. The only reason they made the achievements so easy is so that people will actually play their lame excuse for a game. I really hope someone at ubisoft gets fired for making this game lol. I mean only one site has reviewed this game. It plays like a bad computer game.
Anyone else agree with me here? Its deffinitly not the worst game ive ever played though. That goes to either Paris Dakar Ralley or Gravity Games:woop:

I would say it is far from the worst game out so long as Halo 3 is still around. CSI is taking a new (ish) idea for the 360 instead of the drive-40,000,000mph-through-a-barn-whilst-on-fire or kill-everything-that-moves-then-kill-it-again type games that are pumped out every week. It might not be a thrill ride of cutting edge next gen supremeness but it is refreshing to see people at least attempting something other than the norm.

I would agree that the achievements would be the major selling point of the game, but think how many other games were the same. Pretty much every game-of-the-movie was awful, but it is an easy 1000 and that is what matters. So you can't really fault the developers/publishers for trying to scrape some profits out of their risk.

I actually somewhat enjoyed it and I'm not a CSI fan. It was sort of like a soap opera video game; who's screwing who, who secretly hated who, whos the babies daddy. Some parts were hilarious, but it would have been more fun had it been free roam and with guns. I'd have shot that one chick in Case 4 for answering the door as she did. It could have been cool to "create your own crime scene".

I just finished it myself and its not the worst game I've played. The cases weren't too bad and everything worked the way it was supposed too. the controls are a little basic and they really hold your hand but on the flipside if they didn't this type of game could become near impossible as you're looking for the one piece of evidence to progress the plot.

I'm somewhat of a CSI nut so I really enjoyed this game. Definitely not the worst 360 game. I'd have to go with Fusion Frenzy 2. That was just crap. The only reason I played it is because I got it for free from the Old Spice Challenge.

Just finished the game myself, and I agree that it is not by any means the worst game on the 360. I could name a few games that are alot worse than this! It had a fairly decent storyline, the cases would good and lasted a while each. My only dissapointment was the achievements. It would have been a little better if you had to work for them, then again the extra 1000 is nice!

I think this might be a good hold-me-over until Condemned 2. Granted, I've never seen the show and Condemned is much more of a survival-horror game than one focused exclusively on investigations, but I could see myself buying this used for $15.

It's point-and-click adventure. No action sequences at all.

I somewhat enjoyed it. It could have been a lot better and the achievements were definitely tacked on. With the in game trophies already in place they could easily have attached achievements on to those as well.

I personally found CSI more approachable than other point-and-click games that I had played over the years. Some parts drove me nuts, and the graphics are more Wii-caliber than 360. But those remarks are a far cry from "Worst game". It's a worthwhile rental, but, since it has only five cases, it doesn't have the staying power for a purchase.

I enjoyed this game, its not great but its not bad at the same time. The achievements are really easy so thats also a plus. But there is no replay value really once you have completed it, thats why im going to trade mine in, its really not worth the £40 us here in the UK pay for it, but its worth a rent out as you can get 1000GS in it in only one day with a guide of course.

the game is a lazy, half baked piece of crap, poor graphics, poor SFX, poor voice acting and dialogue, half arsed controls that never feel quite right and worst of all....there is no way to fail at this game, no chance of losing at all, wheres the challenge?

On the plus side I will always approve of more point and click adventure games, I'm just so disappointed with this, especially as it came from telltale studios (makers of the excellent new sam and max episodes)

I haven't played this yet, but hope it is better than you say as I am CSI fan. For the record, Harry Potter is the worst I have played so far. $60 to walk around a castle cleaning up...in the end the only thing that really got cleaned was my wallet.

I'm on last case now and 200G's a case is worth it as it takes a while to do each. When you think you've solved the case, someone else enters the frame and another 30 minutes gathering evidence :p

I love CSI and had CSI on Xbox and this basically is no different but I still like the game

I enjoy all 3 CSI show, I enjoyed the PC games.... and unfortunately I couldn't get into this one. The constant slow loading ruined it for me. A shame, didn't stop me getting the easy 1,000 though :D

LOL. I was reading the posts, scrolling down the window and was about to post almost exactly what is above. I couldnt have said it better. You did forget the blatant, shameless, in-game advertising though. Visa, Chrysler, HP... I'm sure there will be more as I go along. Awesome that it's an easy 1000 but the game is pretty poorly produced. It will definately be getting listed on ebay immediately after I finish it. Maybe if the graphics were better than PS2 quality and I didnt feel like I was playing a crime scene Myst it would be a bit more enjoyable.

I have all of the CSI games on the computer. My wife and I are playing this right now. We are enjoying it alot. I dont like how they have the achievments though. I am an achiement whore and I proudly admit it but damn. They should have at least broke the achievements down per case. found all bugs, 100% etc. all in all its not a bad game. Its just not a normal xbox game.

No thats completely impossible. It will take you around 4-5 hours, maybe more if you arent using the guide or asking for hints from the partner. It looks like that user hasnt even played the game so I dont know whats up with that comment.

There is definitely no way you can complete the game in an hour. Even if you skipped through all the cinematics and knew where EVERYTHING was, you wouldnt be able to beat it in an hour.

I've NEVER watched any CSI show and picked this game up for the achievements. Instead of going off a guide I found myself enjoying the game at it's normal pace. Sure you can get stuck in a few spots but if you think like you're supposed to you can put the clues and questioning together. Not a bad game at all. A definate rent though. The first twenty minutes had me scratching my head about the quality but you get past that in search of clues and putting the crimes together. Must rent!

theres 3 ways to go about making a 360 game. 1.it can be extremely good and take the time to do good in every aspect which is very few games like cod4 halo3 so on and so forth. 2. you think you are making a best seller game and make achievements where you have to play countless hours and expect people to play all the time and it ends up flopping. 3.or you see achievement points as a way to make money cuzz they see us craving more and more achievments and know they cant make a good game but can make a small profit off of us renting or buying there game for achievments.

Depending of what kind of player you are this game can be considered very good or not.

I personally, liked it very much. It is very different from any other game I've played on the 360. When I was a kid my favorite kind of games was point and click adventures, so I liked this very much.

If you are not into adventure games and what you like is just shooting, beating or killing on a video game, then don't get this one, or else you'll get disappointed, because this game has no action at all.

This game is as good an adaptation of the tv series as you can get. If you're a CSI and forensics fan, then you'll like this game.

The title is CSI, clearly indicating it's based on the show. For those who don't like it, to what are you comparing it? ...COD 4, Halo, DMC4? What did you expect?

I got everything I expected from this game: 10-12 hours of game play, in depth look at CSI, and most important 1000 achievements points.

P.S. I paid nothing for access to this game. My roommate loaned it to me.

Im sorry but If you enjoyed this game there must be something wrong with you and what type of games you enjoy, I must say this is easily the most boring game I have ever played I agree with the creator of the thread. Nothing against people who "enjoyed" CSI but come on now, this game is terrible.

i got this from gamefly on friday and while the people don't look right and the voices don't sound right other than that i kind of like it.
its just a rental by far games to short and even as a csi fan i won't play it twice where its the same thing over but for one play through its enjoyable.
if your just pushing yourself through the game for 1,000 points then its going to be painful.
And is a game you don't like really worth the 1,000 points.

Definitely not the worst game on 360. If you like CSI then this is a fun way to pass a few hours, but Ubisoft definitely could have put more effort in. CSI is a franchise they use to just pump money with minimal effort.

If you've played any of the previous CSI games on PC you will notice that apart from the locations you visit nothing else about the games change. Hard Evidence did sink to new lows though, reusing the hotel room for different cases, and re-using the same characters to cut costs further. Seriously how low do they want the budget for making these games?

I also rented the game from Gamefly and beat it in around 7-8 hours. It wasn't an amazing experience because there was literally no room for error, but the stories weren't too bad. The problem is I beat it without being signed into my profile, so I have to rent it and beat again for the achievement points to show. That I am dreading. The game has literally no replay value. I wouldn't even buy it for $5 after playing it once.

It is better than Avatar, and definately not the worst game I ever played. That honour goes to DRIV3R, for me.

It isn't that bad as long as you don't try to beat it all at once. It remains interesting if you do one case at a time and then play something else for a bit. I just hated the laggy responses of the controls in this game cause you are controlling it like a mouse.

The thing that made this even worse was by the 3rd crime they were already re-using areas! Its not exactly believable they'd keep having to visit the same hotel room for multiple crimes.

As I have read though the reviews, one thing that keeps popping up was that the game kind of led you by the hand to everything. Not to mention there was really no wrong way to approach the questioning procedures for suspects and witnesses. It's like playing a FPS with a built in auto-lock that you couldn't turn off. And they'd give you rapid fire and infinite ammo too. And there would be no enemies. You just pay the $20 and have 1000g added to our GT. I think I've gone overboard with the analogy. :p

There are bingo machines that suck less balls than this game. Simply awful, a mind numbing grind that was about as engaging as endlessly re-dialling an in-use phone number.

The worst 360 game I've played, only thing that would have made it better IMO, would have been the option to beat suspects & fellow CSI team members with a phone book, chair leg or 'rolled-up' magazine. Clearly a missed opportunity.
