no achievements for co op

i just got this game. my son and i were playing it, he was player one and i was player 2 i was disappointed to find out that playing co-op does not unlock achievements for both players, only player one...
only have beaten the first level so far. its a decent "kids game."

a lot of games do that because only one profile can be loaded unlike games like halo 3

Yeah this is common with a lot of games..It is actually surprising when it does work.

i guess i am just used to Gears of War, Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Halo 3 where every one gets the achievements.
come to think of it Stars Legos II didnt unlock co op either...

yeah. games that have a co-op feature but don't unlock achievement for both players is lame. i'm so sure this game is soooooo great a friend of mine will want to run through it for nothing and so great that i'll do the same for him.
