TBS is now sponsoring and showing EVERY playoff game. They have a huge billboard in midtown:

Anything seem wrong?

Too bad the mets didnt make it as David wright would have been there, but come on... John Smoltz they were like 4.5 games back with 6 to play and they put him up! A little mis-judgement on behalf on the Brave ace! Anyway David Wright nad the pitiful mets have a right to be there to bad they CHOKED lol!

I feel bad for mets fans. There whole team choked. Maybe they will learn and bounce back next season. Phillies played great down the stretch and deserved it though.

I figured the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees would be in the postseason. I did not know however that this is the first American League East Championship for the Boston Red Sox since 1995 as well as this being the 13th straight year the New York Yankees are in the postseason.

As far as the New York Mets, I feel bad for them, but they have no one to blame except themselves. I do think they are making the right move in keeping Willie Randolph as their coach. At least Pedro Martinez recorded his 3,000th strikeout and Tom Glavine got his 300rd career victory.

As far as the John Smoltz being on there, TBS is based in Atlanta and owned by Ted Turner (who use to own the Atlanta Braves), so there was probably sort of deal to where there had to be an Atlanta Brave on there.

Hahahaha, I guess TBS shouldn't count their chickens before they hatch. ;)

that's pretty funny. aren't the braves like owned or in partnership w/ TBS though? cause it always seems (at least for me) like the braves are always on TBS.

That truly sucks for the Mets. They should tear down that ad and put up a new one. We all know what happened to the Mets and I'm sure they wish that ad was a reality.

I think it was pretty stupid on MLBs part to let TBS televise the games. Put them on FOX or somewhere else not TBS.

It also sucks because TBS doesn't have a HD channel in my area (if they have one at all). Therefore, no HD baseball for me.

Even the local channel that shows the Rockies games had HD broadcasts. Super duper lame-o.

And yeah, put a Rockie on there!

Holliday for MVP!

Turner used to own the Braves as someone said before, thus the Braves are always on tv.

Holliday is amazing at life tho. I had him on my fantasy team. Poor Mets fans....can we say Bill Buckner-esque?!?

koala, how did you get that little title about your forum name??
