Need "Millipede" level help

im at the part where you are in a little room with water and dry land and you have to help carl and hayes shoot the bugs. i cant find a fire to burn the grass down to get the lever to open the door. does anyone know what i can do?

is it the part when u have to walkthrough the waterfall but then your flame goes out?

To get past that part, just light a spear, then head left of the waterfall entrance. You'll see a small window, with one of those fire holders. Throw the spear in to light it, then grab a new one, light it inside, and continue.
