Easy seems like hard to me I mean you take a lot of damage from officers and you do so little to them, has anyone else notice this or is just me.

P.S I'm at lvl 18 and playing as heero.

When I first started playing, Easy was pretty difficult on the last level of their playthrough. The difficulty setting does buff the enemies a little more and you get much better drops from the "generals", but other than that it was the same as Easy.

The only thing that makes Easy hard is the friggen AI Generals you have going off alone and getting owned. I would get so ticked I would start a 2 Player game and hide the General I needed to stay alive during the fight and put him in a safe spot and play the mission knowing he couldn't go off and do something stupid.

Damn you Kamille! Stop being a retard and when you are almost dead stop attacking other Generals :mad:

Ive grown accustumed to the DW games so I just started playing on the default normal difficulty. Best advice is to try and dodge the generals and get behind them.

I thought this was the most difficult Koei game so far. All the rest of them have the very easy option. Once you have a ton of parts for a suit, you should be able to find some really good combinations that will boost your stats.

I've been playing the Dynasty Warriors games for a long time now so I was convinced I'd be able to breeze through the majority of the levels in this game but I have to say that I've had a hell of a time with some of the levels.
At times they are really a pain in the ass. The enemy general fights are tough. lol.

i played through the whole game on normal but the most annoying is what kitsune said where the friggin ai run intobattle and get themselves killed even when they have no life and you are right there killing the other guy (after flying across the whole map to get there) and he gets his special off and kills him.

Expected this game to be very easy...was surprised to see people saying it is difficult, will be giving it a try in the near future.

I thought this game was very easy. there were a couple of last missions of people that were more difficult. But I only failed 2 missions out the 60 I've done...

this game is kinda hard but once you get use to it it gets easier. but it will take time to get all the achievements

I can't see how this is harder than any other Warriors game. I've been playing it on Normal and, as always, the enemy infantry kind of just crowd around and wait to be slaughtered. The only difficult bits are the generals, but that's only because they have so much energy and get knocked down easily, so you can't really do much of a combo against them. Worst comes to worst, your health goes in the red and you effectively get infinite Musou attacks, so it's just a case of hit and run.

In regards to friendly generals, I make a point of ignoring bases and enemy troops and escorting them whenever they wander near another general. If you team up, they won't even get a chance to fight back.

I've played just about every DW game out there and I gotta admit the infantry is just as useless as before but the generals in this one have a tendancy of juggling my ass around to where I'm bout to bite the bullet. Luckily your moossou gauge charges when your near death or i'd be toast on numerous occasions.

This game is a complete insult to the dynasty warriors series & to Gundam, I feel absolutely no enjoyment whist playing it (Through Gritted Teeth) i would probably get more enjoyment sand-papering of my flesh, Playing for gamerscore only as this talks more B.S Than any other game i have ever played 1/10 (and that's being kind)

Compared to the other DW games, Easy mode gets rather challenging (but doable) when you reach the last couple levels of each character. Plus the combos the enemy Generals can do can take to from full health to near death without you being able to do anything to save yourself. A good way to beat those latter bosses is to let them take your health down to red then keep using the RB attack then retreating (to let the gauge fill up) to beat them.

Warriors Orochi was a far better game and it's my favorite DW/SW game yet. Can't wait until DW6 is released in Australia ^_^.

Well after giving it another 24 hours, it isnt that bad or difficult with the right tactics. But still not great and really really repetitive, but hey DW has always been like that.

This game is pretty easy, it just feels hard because when you first start you have no experiance or levels or even parts.But as the game goes on it ll be much more easy when you get the parts.

I was pretty cheap at some points in Original mode.

If I was low on health, I would just barely get in range and spam Y then fly off when they started getting close. Like strafing the cyberdemon in the first Doom. Shoot and run.

Still, with it's short comings, it was pretty fun. Reminds me of the old hack and slash days. No fancy puzzles, no hiding behind cover, no headshots, just carnage against 100,000 enemies.:uzi:

You can edit your posts. Don't make multiple posts in a row when you don't need to.

Also: if you're worried that you're going to fail a mission soon (for example, if an ally is in danger and you're halfway across the map), you can interim save! As long as you don't save the game when you fail the mission, you can go to the options menu, load your game again, and your interim save will be back.
