Episode 2 - The Second Coming!

Well, we made it to our second week. So we decided we would add a new presenter into the mix. Basically, so if it went wrong then we had a new guy to blame :p

We've listened to what you've said, and tried to take it on board. We did get an interview this week, but the mic was worse than mine last week (yes, it was possible!). So we will keep it under wraps who it is (will say that it is a good interview that you will all enjoy next week ;)). Anyway, this ones a little longer, and we don't know if its too long or not. What do you guys reckon?

Great job again guys. I really enjoyed Krazie's segment and the addition of his achievement challenge; that right there adds some fun for everyone. I have to say though I feel bad for Krazie and Razz as I'm sure their inboxes are going to feel up and the XBL servers will probably crash with the influx of "love" everyone is going to show them. Now if we could just get Tron to mute someone all will be perfect. :p

I've always seen myself as a pretty good public speaker, and this is pretty much the same thing..

Only thing is I recorded that segment seperately, so youll see a little more "personality" in my talking when I'm doing a segment with someone else (interview or with Minty or Tron). Kinda hard to have "chemistry" with yourself.. Lol..

Start working on that Achievement Challenge ladies and gentlemen!!

You could also mention the game with staff nights, since I've not heard about them in awhile now...

Overall though, it was cracking. You guys did perfect. I thought Tron's mic was a quieter than Minty's & Krazie's, but that's nothing that can't easily be fixed.

The only criticism I have is that Tron could be a little louder. It seemed that Minty and Krazie had their mics perfect, and Tron was a little faint. :p

Cheers for all the feedback guys, good to see we're heading in the right direction.

Answer a few of the questions- absolutly no plans at the mo for a 4th presenter. its a pain working it out between 3 as it is!! If we were to have another presenter, then it would be too many (Master) Chiefs and not enough Indians. Plus I think we have the right mix of people. Gaiden does all the achievements, which is clearly his specialty, and then myself and Tron are both heavily involved in the news aspect of the site and all the upcoming games etc etc.

The game with staff- we will certainly add it in next week, so look out for that. In fact, it may well be with the podcast team on something ;)

We will try and work on the reviews coming up, but that al depends on the Review Teams lifes and who manages to complete a review in the week. We dont literally whip them into it or anything.

One question for you guys (and especially girls)- what length are you looking for. The first one was 14 minutes, this was 21. Originally we were aiming for the 15 minutes or so, so we blew that!! And like Krazie said, the interview is 8 odd minutes on top of it. If people dont want to listen past 15 minutes, then we need to know to condense some stuff in, but if people are happy with a longer cats, like the half hour mark, then we can be more creative/drunk when making it and it will last longer. Like we keep saying, this is a community podcast, so let us know how you want it to be.

Personally I don't want it rushed through just to touch base on everything. You could make it 30 to 45 minutes long and I would be totally fine with it. Content it definitely key but if you rush through things is at times harder to hear it, process it, and keep up with the next topic at times. I say make it longer.

You guy's rock & all i can say is keep up the good work & adding Krazie to the cast was a good decision it makes it more entertaining oh the only bad feedback i have to give is that when you guys talk about Ninja Gaiden it's not pronounced GAY-DEN it more like GUY-DEN ok. What length are you looking for?

I don't think the length matters much. Since you can open the podcast and follow along with the achievement list and reviews on the site. It's a great interactive tool that blends right in with the site. I think it more depends on the info that week. Even if it's forty minutes, I'll still be following along.

If it's too loud you can always turn it down, but it it's not loud enought there's only so far you can turn it up.

On the time thing we're discussing -- Keep in mind that this is a weekly show, and 15 minutes for a week's worth of news, achievements, plus interviews and whatnot, we dont wanna rush it.. 30-35 is probably a more realistic mark, give or take depending on how much stuff happens in a week..

Another great Podcast Guys, Adding Krazie was great. Congrats on the promo by the way. I downloaded the podcast to my pod, and listened to it with headphones on and heard most of the audio just fine. The people that had problems hearing the podcast that were using a laptop, sometimes when I use my laptop the sounds don't come through all the time, I just jack in a pair of headphones to my laptop and it usually works better. Great job again, great way to get my gaming fix.
