I'm at work, but I can't wait to see if Jericho lives up to its reputation. I know my brother is eagerly awaiting this one too.

I've read most of his books. Undying was fantastic. I'm sure it's going to be awesome.

I'm at work too. I can't wait to get home and try it out.

I read the Great and Secret Show first, which was the 1st book in the series that Everville is in (I wish he'd do the Third book of the Art soon). So it'll always hold a soft spot in my heart. But my favorite by far has to be Imajica. I can't wait to buy Mister B. Gone October 30th. Weaveworld wasn't bad at all but I thought Sacrament was better. I love my Clive Barker collection since I have 90% of his books in hardback.

I cant say that ive read any of his shit, but the video that they have out for this one got me pretty excited. Only problem is that is all i have seen about Jericho. Nothing in any of my magazines and that is the only footage ive seen. So im looking forward to really cing what this game is all about.

If you're a reader you should pick up a book or two of his. Weaveworld is a ton smaller than Imajica but not as in-depth. He's a very deep...very descriptive...sick mofo. I love his books with all my heart. :p

Yeah and good luck pronouncing like "Yzorderrexx"....wtf, this is why I could not get into Imajica.

What does it matter? I really don't care about the words...I form my own interpretation of them in my head. In fact, I read an article once where he said he doesn't even remember how to pronounce it.

Yzordderrex - I think I came up with: EE-zor-der-ex

If you never finished it you should try again. This kind of thing is typical Barker.

EDIT: Any one interested could read some about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imajica
Don't read too far though because there are spoilers.

Supposedly he's named it his favorite book as well.

Anyone get this demo yet? I played it on my PC and it was pretty freaking gory. Great stuff definitely. It was hard to play since it was so freaking choppy on my outdated computer. I'll have to redownload it when I get the chance.

So i played the demo this weekend, awesome awesome awesome. Man i had some fun playing through it. When you get the demo it comes with a lil walk through explaining the game concept and how it works, it explains the story and how it ties everything together. I highly recomend it. If you like shooters, horror games, or games that give you superhuman abilities, then this one is for you ;) Being able to snip 4 guys in the head with a single bullet... priceless :D

Seriously though everything in this game is amazing, im mostly excited about the story as it seems to be top notch. The grapchics are great and the game play is fun. This demo definatly leaves you wanting more. Go and download it, now :)

Of course the story is top notch....Clive Barker did write it after all.

Seriously though when they started busting into it i was just like  The whole set up just seems so badass. A great story like this one is what i want from my games, kinda like the whole TES series. It seems so indepth, if i can find any spare time i might just have to start reading some of the stuff you suggested.

I didn't expect too much going into it... 3 minutes into the Demo it became a must play game. The concept and story seem like they'd be awesome and the atmosphere of the game adds to great scare factor of it all. The push button commands make it awesome as well. Way more than I expected and I will probably pick it up in one way or another.

The sniper in this game is so nasty, does anyone know when this comes out?

Some of the creatures are definitely inspired by clive

barker's tortured souls action figures. Can't wait to play the game! :Bounce:

I don't know that I'd say they were "inspired" by. That's just his style.

It's crazy the kind of gore a gay man can come up with.

Downloading the demo right now, what is the gameplay like, third person?

KlicK

It's first person.

And the Ghost Bullet rapes. Seriously, it's one of the coolest things I've seen before.

Finally got my tree sixty back and downloaded this ASAP. The movement of the characters are pretty darn cool. Most FPS' have the person pretty damn stiff. It's pretty exciting in most areas especially when you're Church and you have to separate from the pack. Pretty gory but didn't feel that scary.

Yeah, I didn't feel it was really that scary either. Which is kind of disappointing, because I love horror games. (except for Silent Hill 2, I never finished that game...) Hopefully the full package is a little more engrossing.

Man, I bet you haven't seen the bosses screenshots on the Net. Trust me, it is going to be the most gore game of all times, which is why most of my friends won't do it. But I will :)

I'm still debating on this game or not. Ace Combat comes out on the same day. Then a week later GHIII and a week after that COD4. If this is a buy then it might be after Christmas when I will have time to play it and title releases slow down.

Hope the full game is light on QTEs (Quick Time Events), I HATE QTEs, and the one near the end of the demo is bloody awful. It's called die and retry and I don't like that, it kills the flow of the game.
