GODS OF THE GAME...Best Athletes of All-Time!!!

Well...I was watchin the Classic Reel on ESPN and it got me to think bout all the greats!!! These guys come in and give lil kids somethin to cheer and talk about. They give adults water cooler fodder and there favorite teams sweat shirt. So, lets find out who the best athlete of all-time is!!!!

1. Michael Jordan (Six championships in nine years...doesn't get more beast than that!!!)
2. Peyton Manning (He is my hometown boy and he is a God to boot!!!)
3. Barry Bonds (I know people hate him and they say he is a cheater, but to all the steriod haters...you still have to hit the god d**n ball!!!!)
4. Rodger Federer (Um...don't watch much tennis but know enough to say that he is a f**kin God!!!)
5. Tiger Woods (What...you think I was gonna forget!!?)

Debatable but some would rather say Ali or Tyson in their primes. ;) Also, Lance is not the best road racing cyclist. He even said so himself that if every racer just trained for ONE race every year, they would win just as much. That all he does. He trains for the Tour De France. He doesn't race in any other race. He's a tour de france racer.

-Roger Federer (You have to have him because no one can even phase him. He just dominates the sport like no other)
-Tiger Woods (same as Roger)
-Babe Ruth (Could pitch really well and nobody hits Home runs like he can. Home run distance was much much farther back in his day)

-Sugar Ray Robinson

To talk about the best of all time, you have to look at how they changed the game. You have to look at the record books.....And you have to look at the skill.

Remember...best athlete does not mean most championships. It means who did what very few people have ever managed to do.

1. Wilt Chamberlain (the guy was king of the court)

2. Tiger Woods (never been a more dominant golfer)

3. Wayne Gretzsky (# 99 is retired for every team in the league for a reason)

4. Bo Jackson (2 sports...ruled in both)

5. Roger Federer (Pete Sampras was a beast but Federer is playing like a Machine. He may be bionic....)


You may wonder why Jordan did not make my list. He was great and he individually led his teams to victory but we all know the "Jordan rules" helped him pad stats in his career. People hated Wilt and give him a hard way to go. tiger always had to fight the masses. Bo had enough flack from playing 2 sports but he succeeded in both. Federer is beating everybody on every surface (grass, clay, lava, ice, hyrule)
