I picked this one up yesterday. Dont really have time to write a guide atm. I beat the first 18 missions with Ace ranking in 1 sitting, so if anyone has any questions, feel free.

I have beat 15 Missions with Ace rating and got the "Complete Collection" Achievement, my last Single-Player Achievement.

So no, you don't need all Missions with an Ace rating.

Yeah i had 16 of 18 with ace actually and had to go redo one and got ace and then i got collection complete. This game was way easier than the first one. I got all the single player done in under 24 hours. The only mission i found to be a real chore was the Red Square mission. They keep telling you to target the bombers, but you will never win unless you eliminate all ground troops instead. Other than that, make sure you press Up a couple times on your dpad and Right every couple minutes, and the rest of the missions should be a breeze.

Skirmish Explored
Reach 25% in all skirmish missions in the coop mode.
Host a match and just have patience. Or you can join one. From my experiences most people who play this game are only playing for achievements. So you won't have to wait too long for someone to join your game or to find one. It's better to get a team of atleast 3 people to go through the missions faster. Make sure to keep track of what missions you've done so you don't accidently redo them.


Proven Pilot
Make 50 kills in adversarial multiplayer matches.
Refer to "Ace of Aces"

Skilled Dogfighter
Make 150 kills in adversarial multiplayer matches.
Refer to "Ace of Aces"

Ace of Aces
Make 300 kills in adversarial multiplayer matches.
I found there's a couple ways you could do this: 1. you could invite a bud/recent player to your game. (Make sure you've made 6/8 private slots and set the time limit to 30, kills to win to 0 and just kill him repeatedly) or you could just join/make some games and simply kill anybody on the opposing team. I believe in any multiplayer game mode if you kill people on the opposing team the kills will count. (hasn't been confirmed) Co-op kills will not count.

Healthy Finish
Finish a solo multiplayer match without being last on the table.
Refer to "Top Finish"

Good Finish
Finish a solo multiplayer match above mid-table.
Refer to "Top Finish"

Top Finish
Finish a solo multiplayer match on the top of the table.
For this just set up a private solo dogfight game 6/8 private slots kills to win - 15. If you set it to 15 and make sure your friend doesn't kill you you can get all three finishes (If stackable) and 'Dominator'

Good Team Play
Be part of the winning team in 3 squad matches.
Refer to "Superb Team Play"

Excellent Team Play
Be part of the winning team in 25 squad matches.
Refer to "Superb Team Play"

Superb Team Play
Be part of the winning team in 50 squad matches.
There's really no easy way around this. For this achievement you have to be somewhat skilled at this game. For the win to count for you, try to stear clear of having negative kills. You should also make sure to have a friend who plays this game too. It makes it slightly more bearable.

Versatile Pilot
Achieve multiplayer kills with at least 15 types of different aircraft.
Really straight forward. Join/make a game and try to get atleast 3 kills with the plane your using. Once you've finally crashed or been shot down go into the ready room and change your plane.

Dominator
Make 15 kills in a row without dying, in a multiplayer match.
Set up a private match with 6/8 slots, kills set to 20 to 30 in case you crash or shot down by accident and invite a bud and kill hime 15 times in a row.

Team Player
Respond to at least 25 requests from teammates in multiplayer.
Very straight forward. There's 2 ways you can get this. 1 being you get into a mtach with a friend and tell him to keep sending out requests or sending them out back and forth so you can bot the get it. 2 being you just get it throughout the course of playing Multiplayer.

Note: Requests are the options on the D-Pad picture on your screen. Pressing either left or right on the D-Pad sends out a request.

Curiosity Satisfied
Play at least one match in every multiplayer mode.
Still a little confused on this one but I believe you have to do:
Dogfight (Either Squad or Solo or both)
CTF (Either Squad or Solo or both)
Kamikaze (Co-op)
Skirmish (Co-op)
Campaign? (Not sure if you have to)
Just go through each gametype or whatever and play through on only squad or solo and Co-op. If you have gotten it and know how help would be appreciated.

Veteran
Play 25 hours online, in any multiplayer mode.
Refer to "Hardened Veteran"

Hardened Veteran
Play 50 hours online, in any multiplayer mode.
Still working on this one but what you can do is set up a match set Kills to 0 and time to 30 mins. and just leave it on and hope people don't quit. You could also send recent players/friends invites to your game. Also make sure to try and not get negative kills.

Well, it took me about half an hour. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I know Lazywolf was doing the campaign achievements but he hasn't finished yet and I'm not sure he will. Remember this is still a 'work' in progress so feel free to make suggestions. Again help is appreciated and you'd fulfill a little boy's dream of getting his name on the Achievement Guide maker thingy. :p

Nice Collection
Unlock 65% of the planes in the single player campaign.
Refer to "Complete Collection"

Unlock all the planes in the single player campaign.
Make sure to Ace evey mission excluding the 15th mission, 'Gladiators in the Dark' I'm not sure if it was a glitch but I had gotten Veteran Pilot on it and had still unlocked the third plane. Either way just try to earn as much prestige as you can.

Showoff
Perform at least 25 stunts in the single player campaign.
Very straight forward, just put up the map (with 'Y') and look for the circles. You'll probably end up getting most f the stunts in the first mission beacuse you have to perform 10 stunts. When in the flashback in the first mission, you'll probably end up collecting more stunts to achieve Ace rating.

Well Covered
Your turret gunners score 15 kills in the single player campaign.
Very straightforward, you'll probably unlock this during 'Italian Night Out'

Eye in the Back
Successfully use defensive weapons 50 times over the course of the campaign.
Defensive weapons are the things that are "released" from your plane by pressing 'X'. For them to count I believe they must have died/crashed due to the use of your Defensive weapon.

Strategist
Your wingmen score at least 50 kills over the course of the single player campaign.
Very easy, just keep pressing up or right on the D-pad and should unlock this sometime during the campaign mode.

Tech Savvy
Acquire at least two technological advancements in the single player campaign.
Refer to "Tech Expert"

Tech Expert
Acquire all technological advancements in the single player campaign
Very straight forward, just buy the upgrades before the start of a mission with the prestige gained during the campaign. You'll probably unlock this sometime before the 17th or 18th mission depending on how keen you are on getting upgrades.

Ace for a Day
Obtain the Ace rating in at least one mission of the single player campaign.
Refer to "Ace"

Ace
Obtain the Ace rating in at least 5 missions of the single player campaign.
Very straight forward. All you have to do is earn a certain amount of prestige points depending on the mission. From what TheLazyWolf has done refer to his unfinished guide.

Great Streak
Make a killing streak of at least 12 kills.
You can get this during the mission in Cairo where the planes are dropping of the ground units with parachutes. You have to be swift in order to get this.

Streak Master
Make three killing streaks of at least 15 kills.
I'm still confused on how I got this but I think you can keep going back into the Cairo mission and refer to "Great Streak" except with 15 kills.

Completist
Accomplish all secondary objectives in all the single player campaign missions.
I believe there is 20 secondary objectives scattered through the campaign mode. I can elaborate once I go into the Campaign achievements.

I'm not sure if TheLazyWolf is going to finish his guide. But I might go on to the Campaign achievements because, if you haven't seen, I'm practically the only person who posts around here. Help would be appreciated seeing as I'm still on the fence or whatever with some of the achievements.

This game is alot easier then the first, in my opinion. also getting ace in every mission ive found only helsp out with unlocking all of the planes and filling up you hangar. If any one knows an easy way to get the secondary mission achievments lemme know!!!

Oh and the guide above with the "eye in back" you have to kill 50 enemy's from using the X button weapon, i found it is very easy to do if you get in front of a "V" shaped plane formation, its a easy way to kill 5 enemys at a time! don't remember the missions there in but its an easy achievement to get

Complete all 18 missions in the Champaign Mode

Showoff- Perform at least 25 stunts in the single player campaign.
Fly through the level and look for the “Stunt” Icon. You can also locate the stunts by activating your tactical map by pressing the “Y” button. The stunts will be little dots(not Red one’s)on the map. You should be able to get this achievement within the first 4 levels.

Strategist Achievement: Your wingmen score at least 50 kills over the course of the single player campaign.
I got the Strategist Achievement in the second mission. All I did was lock on to a ground target and press the up D pad to send your wingman off to kill the ground targets while I focused on the planes in the air. When I finished the level the achievement was unlocked.

Ace for A Day- Obtain the Ace rating in at least one mission of the single player campaign.
“See Ace”

Ace- Obtain the Ace rating in at least 5 missions of the single player campaign.
All you have to do is get 5 ace ratings for five missions. To get an ace rating try to get all the Stunt tokens destroy as many targets as possible. Complete all secondary objectives and you should get an “Ace” rating.

Well Covered
I just got this achievement in Mission 8: Target Red Square. All you have to do is just keep pressing the right D-Pad to have your tail gunner go nuts. You should get the achievement at the end of the level.

Eye In The Back
In mission 12 there are jets that will follow you to try to blow you up after defending the Golden GateBridge. When you have to destroy the massive boat with the jets that are trying to kill you. Just use your defensive weapons and take down 12 at a time.

Great Streak

Streak Master:
In mission 6 were you have to steal the German Bomber. One of the objectives in this mission is to destroy the bridge. You will be told to go to the bomb bay and drop some bombs. This will happen 2 to 3 times. Each time you should get a streak over 15. I just did it and got a streak of 25.

Tech Savvy: Acquire at least two technological advancements in the single player campaign.
After your fist two missions you should have enough points get technological updates. Buy two updates and you have it.

Tech Expert: Acquire all technological advancements in the single player campaign
Very easy to get this achievement. Just buy the upgrades before the start of a mission with the prestige gained during the campaign. I unlocked the achievement after Mission 17.

Nice Collection- Unlock 65% of the planes in the single player campaign

I got this achievement around mission 15. Make sure when you complete a level you complete it with a Ace Rating. This way you will make sure that you unlock all the planes.


Curiosity Satisfied- Play at least one match in every multiplayer mode.

To get this achievement you will have to play the following levels:

Coop- Kamikaze, Skirmish, Campaign
Solo- Dogfight, Seek and Destroy, Aces High
Squad- Dogfight, Kamikaze, Assault, Capture the Flag, Epic Battle

Complete theses and the achievement is yours.

The story avhievements are easy, but the on-line are hard without a someone to boost with. there are not many people playing this game on line.

So no, you don't need all Missions with an Ace rating.

I know I am quoting someone from almost a year ago, but I thought it important to let some know that I have every mission except "Rendezvous" with an ace and I still do not have the "Complete Collection" achievement.

So yes, you may need all missions with an Ace rating. Although as no planes are unlocked in the last mission I think we can assume it is not necessary.
