online lag

Im gonna rent this game today and i want to know is the lag online as bad as everyone says

I've played about 15-20 matches online, and i haven't noticed too much lag. There were a few games though where i swear the host was using (sun) dial up connection, and that really sucked. But as long as the host has a pretty good connection it wasn't too bad. I hosted a bunch too and the guys i was playing with were commenting about someone finally haveing a decent connection... so they must have had some bad experiences.
