Ok i know this will help at least a couple people, that is if a couple more people are foolish enough to play this game.. Its terrible!! Heres a few tips to help you power through it.

First there are 6 Official mode character stories and 16 Original mode character stories. The best character in the game is by far a guy named Heero. His SP attack will destroy bosses in sometimes 1 hit. Its also a stationairy SP attack meaning you can really concentrate on 1 enemy.

Anyway, start with 1 of the characters you have available, either Amuro or Kamille. Work on leveling them up to level 30 first thing. This will make the rest of the game way easier.

Ok now that you have a fully leveled character, plug in that second controller. DO NOT sign in another gamertag with it. only 1 tag can play at a time, but 2 people ( or 2 controllers can play as it.)

Select the character whos story you want to do with the first player controller, and select your fully leveled guy as the second player.

Now if you have someone to play Coop with, do so. Otherwise just have the level 1 character hide in blue corner, and have your level 30 character destroy everyone. (seriously if you get Heero, this will go way fast.) As an added bonus, if you do have someone playing on the other controller, BOTH players kills count towards the 50k and 100k achievements.

As for the acquiring all skills achievement, you may have noticed that you only get a skill every few missions, and there are tons to collect. Not to worry, when you play Coop with 2 characters and 1 is level 30, he will unlock a skill every mission, REGARDLESS of whether you win or lose.

So there ya go, hope that helps the 1 or 2 of you who is also crazy enough to play this game.

Hey whats that suppsoed to mean.

While I agree that Heero is the best when it comes to his SP ataack I just don't like him as a character. I'ver personally been kicking all sorts of ass with Haman and the Quebely. Though I'll also say that the ZZ Gundam is very good because it's melee attack has longer range than anyone else I've notived so far.

Haman will work also, because her SP attack is stationairy, so you can target a specific enemy. There is a melee range extend skill that is very helpful.

I just noticed the other threads were closed, so I opened them. Also going to sticky this. Good info.

Yeah its a nice skill that makes ZZ even more of a powerhouse. I'll have to say though that my favorites skill would have to be the one that replinishes your health with every enemy you kill when you SP gague is full.

Yup that is a pretty sick skill. I used it with Kamille who was the first character i leveled to 30, but i never took any damage with heros sp attack so i just put that skill that made every sp attack a hyper sp attack in its place...

Heres something i tried to figure out forever but couldnt. If you use a Square Drive skill (x3?) and a Cross Drive skill (x4?) do you get a 12x bonus to your Y button attack, or does it just take the highest one, X4?

I'm loving this game.

What could possibly be more entertaining than people hitting other people...?

People hitting other people with swords!

And this game gives me Giant Robots hitting other Giant Robots with Laser Swords!

Awesome fun.

Wish they'd get a 360 Robotech game out though.

It is addicting. I bought it only because it clearanced by Circuit City for $12 and I thought it might be decent.. though I was worried it wouldn't be fun since it wasn't a regular Warriors game.. but I've found it to be a lot deeper than regular Warriors games. Though there are too few stages.
Still, very addicting.. !! I just want to sit here and finish all of it!
