Exterminator achievement wouldn't unlock?

I just killed all gargoyles and gave their eggs to Eldric before he gave me quests but no achievement pop? Maybe glitched or should I get quests from him first to be count for achievement?

It's a long quest line. You meet him on Antigua and kill all the gargoyles and collection of eggs. Then you do the same thing with an added twist on storm island. After that you should go to Caldera and talk to him on the ship to get the quest where you have to search the 6 islands. Then you go to each island and talk to him on the ship and he'll let you know if the island is inhabited with gargoyles. Then you'll talk to a former contact from each subsequent island and they'll mark the gargoyle and egg locations for you on your map. After you exterminate the island, go back and talk to Eldric. Then repeat until you have each of the islands done.

From all islands my friend. Once you finish the air temple then the gargoyles head to other islands. Go to Caldera and talk to Eldric on the ship. I'm lucky I got this achievement. I had trouble getting the last gargoyle on Storm Island to spawn on my first playthrough. On my current one, I can't get him to spawn at all. It's one of the ones right in front of the air temple.

Had nothing but trouble with the entire Air Temple DLC too. I had 5 floating enemies on that island and one of them was the last gargoyle I needed. I also had the marooned sailor despawn on me and never come back. I now have to do the entire temple again due to the bugs.

If you're having trouble finding an enemy, trust me, look to the sky, they'll be floating.

Damn.. That sounds pretty bad. Do you have the game installed to HDD? I only had one "floating" enemy, a Sunken One. I shot the poor bugger to death with a Seaman's Shotgun.

Yep, always install to HDD. Thankfully, whenever I play any game now, I make multiple saves and back em up so I didn't lose too much gameplay. To be fair, up until that DLC, game bugs were very minor and very few.

is it possible to get all chievos without using the air temple DLC, since the chievos seem to be part of the treasure isle dlc?
