Please excuse missing numbers, but I had to give the game back to Gamefly.
Tol level up, just defeat as many aces/enemies as you can winning a level gets you bonus points.
The character/MS I choose to level up was Amuro in the Gundam. It didn't take long (about 10 missions/7K shot down in Off and org modes) before I got RX-78 to lvl 10, and I'm currently at lvl 25 for Amuro
Below are the point values that the pilot levels up at. You can check your progress at the end of missions or in the Gallery->Player Record->Pilot Records section
