So, I have very distant memories of playing this on the PS2...

And I remember there was some grand benefit to not killing anybody in an entire game. i.e. stunning, tranqs, etc.

Is that completely irrelevant for the Xbox version? I would think it is, but since I've played to strut 2 without killing anybody yet, I want to see if I have to continue to do so or not...

There aren't any achievements for not killing anybody for MGS2 (there is one for MGS3) but no kills will get you a better codename at the end of the game. Other than that it doesn't matter.

There's no achievement for not killing anyone in MGS 2 HD but there is for MGS 3 HD.
