Challenge Maps

I was doing LothLorien last night. I think I made it to wave 21 before wiping out. Is there an end or does it go on indefinitely?

I myself did these maps and wiped around 20ish. I searched around the web and disgustingly they really only serve as a viable option to fight mobs if you don't wish to have a story attached. The only 'loot' is the chests that supply potions and the XP does carry over, though level 40 is not a difficult milestone to complete if you are going for Legendary.

Personally, they feel like Mad Moxxi's Arena from Borderlands but with even less purpose.

My brother and I used them for easy headshots, and quit out once we both got the achievement.
