Last night my 360 gets the 3 red lights of death. I wait a night and in the morning turn it on again, nothing. Do the towel trick and all it did was make the system not turn on at all. I leave for the day come back at night and its somehow working and going to the dashboard everything. How weird is this?

The last time I Red Ringed, I unplugged the outlet on the back of the 360 and plugged it back in. Turned back on like magic and it's still working now.

Yeah I get the 3 rings about every month. A good unplugging or hour rest & it works fine. Still on my first Xbox 360, & I plan to be for a while :)

Don't even worry about how it got itself working again, just be glad it is working, haha. I have yet to experience the Three Rings, but if I do (God forbid :p), hopefully I'll be as lucky as you guys have been with it.
