Effective Weapon

My friend and I are wondering exactly what your "Effective Weapon" is. I am assuming it is either the gun you have the most kills with, best kill:death ratio with, or most score with.

However, I was wondering if anyone knew for sure, and don't say: it is your most effective weapon please.
