Arcade NEXT?

Slightly confused here as SEGA seems to be releasing a fair few titles. I've seen Streets of Rage, Alex the Kidd and Company, The Wonderboy, Golden Axe.


I was under the assumption that Trials Evolution, Fable Heroes, Bloodforge and Minecraft were the prototypes for the next and upcoming 'rules and regulations' regarding XBLA titles (i.e. the new 400 GS).

Yet no matter how I count these i'm coming up 200.

What gives?

As far as i'm aware the 400GS rule doesn't come into effect until the end of May/early June. Current games can have 400GS but it's not compulsory.

All he had to do was read the news announcement posted at this very website. It's quite clear that there was a transition period where 400GS was optional until June 1st when it comes mandatory.

It's still May and will be for several more weeks. Thus, 400GS is optional rather than mandatory.
