Any news on Porsche Pack DLC Achievements

With the DLC out in a few weeks I thought the achievements would have been announced by now

Im looking forward to some actual added gamerscore at long last (250g)

Don't really see what the big mystery is. They'll be just like the main game except Porsche focused.

A gold medal in all Porsche races is a given. Level 50 affinity with Porsche is probably a given. Maybe another one for buying all the Porsches. One for driving 1000 miles or some other distance in Porsches.

They'll all be easy and probably single player.

No way are they going to do something like that. They listen to the community, which pretty much hatet that achievement. I spent over 110 hours in this game (driving time alone), and I am only at Ferrari level 23, which is my highest affinity.

Besides, it is a different story when you have a new game with 50 or more new events where you can drive every manufacturer. I assume many people have already completed lots of events, and they would have to redo lots of them to get Porsche do level 50. I like these cars, but I definitely do not want to spend God knows how many hours driving just them.

The number of people that actually finish a sizable portion of the events is in the single-digit percentages. Only 4% of people that had FM3 got the Solid Gold achievement. For FM4 only 1% have Bucket List and 2% have Factory Driver.

Almost no one will care about the achievements because almost no one will get them all. The ones that will just bitch and moan about everything but in the end they always fold.

How is that easy? Time-consuming does not equal easy. If I had played a single manufacturer from the beginning, I would have probably gotten it by now. But that is just stupid. I have many manufacturers above level 15, even more around level 10. But it will still take a long time before I reach level 50 with any of them (most likely Ferrari).

Well I've already finished the event list and have 2 manufacturers at level 50. With the 20 new events I doubt there will be enough left to get Porsche to level 50 too. So I hope that's not an achievement because I don't want to have to repeat races I've already done.

I've had level 50 for a long time as well...raced nothing but Ferrari unless the race required a class/mfg where I couldn't. I've done every event race and really don't want to have to run races I've already done. That said, if lvl 50 is an achievement I'll get it. :p

Might be a long while before I would get this. Not a fan of the level 50 affinity achievement. Is a very restrictive achievement. All those cars and I have to focus on one make? Not fun. Not to mention these 1600 price tags are killing me.

I think Frrari has to be one of the hardest. I am only on 40 and have way over 200 hours played...

Ferrari is definately one of the easiest for those that like R class cars. F50gt all day, season event and do the affinity 100% race. Season 6-10 you make beau coup affinity especially the closer you get to season 10. I must say though it did put me off driving ferraris for a while though.

I'm not going to speculate on the achievements but I assume it will be similar to Ferrari. (collect all cars, factory driver (may be nice and make level 25), drive 1000 miles etc.) It will be what it will be.

Yep, I had two manufacturers at level 50 by about the 40% mark. Precisely why I don't want a Porsche affinity achievement - been there done that.

Getting to level 25 is the bulk of it. After 25 it is only 50k points to go up a level. It's doesn't make a lot of sense why though, lol.

That would be the most retarded achievement ever. If it does come to that I'm going to be pretty pissed. Im sure you will see something like beat a certain type of car with a certain type of porsche.

I saw an interview (x-play I think) that said they're adding about 5 hours of gameplay....That would eliminate all those affinity/season achievements. I haven't bought ANY dlc for F3 or F4 so far. Why pay $7 or so for a few more cars? I'd pay for tracks anytime though. Hopefully this Porsche pack will add to the game in a significant way. Good achievements will definitely sell this pack!

There will only be one pack ie you will not be able to buy just the cars. I suggest people expect it to be 1600 until either a Turn 10 employee states otherwise or it lands on the marketplace. I for one will gladly pay 1600 for it.

On Twitter turn 10 is giving away prizes related to the Porsche expansion. On the rules page it says the retail value of the Porsche expansion prize is $20 US. That's 1600msp.

I agree. I was merely referring to gameplay time £3.50 for 100+ hours or £17.99 for 5 hours

That's the nature of the industry. Game prices aren't based on gameplay value. New games are all the same price (excluding special editions) and old ones are demand based. This game will be worth just as little given enough time.

There are many ways to control your gaming budget. One is to buy many old games and never experience the latest ones. I choose to buy them new, but I only buy a select few. I only buy those games that I consider to be the best and I spend far less money than most gamers.

Nothing from Turn 10 on a price change. I would assume it's 1600. That way if it is you won't be mad and if it's cheaper you'll be pleasantly surprised.
