How do I unlock the extreme tracks? I've beat all other tracks. Do I need to get 135 medals for the trials trophy or complete all tournaments? Any help is appreciated.

Yeah you just need a total of 135 medals and the extreme tracks will become available.

Keep in mind that skill game medals count as well.
