Ricochet Glitched?

Hey guys. So I just killed a guard by deflecting his arrows back at him, I didn't touch him with my sword at all just stood there and constantly deflected his arrows back at him, and yet the achievement hasn't unlocked. Is anyone else having this problem, or am I doing something wrong, just press LT when the arrow is about to hit you right? That's all you need to do?

For me it unlocked after second kill, but I had 2 archers standing close and its possible that I deflected arrow from one guy and it hit second guy. Maybe the same happened to you.

Nope, got it on my very first enemy I tried that. Also you only have to hold :rtbut: and the rest goes automatically.

Just make sure you have 2/2 on "Arrow Redirection".

I assume someting else like poison or fire killed him, if not, try it again. There are plenty of opportunities in this game to get it.

I had 2/2 for Arrow Redirection, and I know there was nothing else damaging him, it was the guard stood by the Ballista at the end of Chapter 1, killed everyone else in the courtyard first (in the solo fight there, not when the reinforcements show up), then stood there and just deflected his arrows back at him, and he was at full health when I started, nothing had touched him before I started deflecting. Does seem like a glitch to me.

Did not unlock for me either and i did it to just one guy and didn't use anything else but deflect his arrow till he died.

Later in Act 3 tried again with two guards right before final quest but this time arrows were glitched because they weren't even hitting me o_O

I'll try again with a new game tomorrow.

I didn't want to start a new one but there isn't much help for this one. I know i may be cheap but i don't want to spend 2 on arrow redirection so i wanted to get it and reload. Are there any bandits, soldiers, squirrels in chapter 1 that i can fight. I read that they come out at night, the scoia'tael? Does anyone know where?

When you deflect a certain number of arrows you get an ability (batter) that gives you a chance to get an instant kill with deflected arrows, maybe if that happens you don't get the achievement.

Had the same problem myself. Managed to get it at the end of the game before you face Letho but I had to re-do it 4 times before it finally popped.

I know that the guide recommends getting the attribute to help get the achievement. My guess is that it's touchy and if someone dies from anything else, it won't work, ie.someone else's arrow. The good news is that most people seem to get it eventually. I just don't want to spend 2 in arrow redirection unless i can reload. If anyone knows an early place to try. I wanna do 2 in daggers because the+ 20 added to 20-30 makes it quite powerful and i took the attribute for a quest.
