Has an update "broken" cheevie "The Spider's Shadow"?

I've only just started playing the game a couple of days ago, and in the Guide it says that if you're spotted you can restart last checkpoint - the problem is that I've done that (usually get spotted during the "corridor" part of the Hammerhead level), and STILL not got "The Spider's Shadow"

So, the question is, have they "fixed" the game so that you have to do the entire level cleanly in one go, rather than being able to just restart?

Looking at the solutions on TrueAchievements.com, apparently the trick is to Quit and Continue, instead of Restarting. This trick worked for me, unlocking the achievement today. Good luck.
