Alright I was wondering how I can get my pictures from my SGH-A707 (cell phone) to my laptop (HP pavilion dell notebook). They can transfer music but i'm having some trouble getting the pictures working. Just got a legit 3.5 million combo in THP8 and wanted to upload the picture.

I always just email it to myself from my phone.

Either use a data transfer cable or bluetooth it accross, or just MMS/email it

For the email I can't seem to be able to attach files (I tried yahoo, photobucket, and gmail) also whenever I connect it to my computer it always thinks it is a MP3 player.

Use your built in text message. Send the photo to an email address.

is a MMS message basically an email?

I believe it's a text message to your e-mail.

SMS is Short Messaging Service- a text message
MMS is Multimedia Messaging Service- a photo message

Both are sent to a cell phone number

An email is sent to an email address

But you can send a MMS message to an email. I do it all the time.

Sorta on the same topic, I got a LG Chocolate, the Canadian / Bell version of it. And I am wondering, as I would like to get a few photos onto my Mac, and since it doesn't connect properly, am I able to send Pictures or Music through Bluetooth, back and forth between my computer and my phone? I would Text Message it to my email, but it costs like $32 bucks for some reason... And I can't upload it to me Photobucket Mobile account because the Mobile Browser is not working or something.

If I can, is all I have to do, is get my phone and computer to reconize each other as trusted devices? Or like most things, is there an easier way? Or is it just hard to do in the first place.

When it comes to bluetooth it really depends on how the phone is set up. To give you an example I am a Verizon customer and first got a bluetooth Moto V710, however bluetooth really didn't work. I couldn't transmit or receive with another bluetooth device. Come to find out Verizon had the OBEX Bluetooth function turned off, this was how the phone communicated and transfered music, photos, and other files between devices. Just at a glance from searching I see that the LG Chocolate's OBEX is disabled also, but you should check with your provider's customer support to make sure.

*Edit - I found an article that says the Bell version does allow OBEX so you should be able to connect it to your Mac given it has bluetooth also. Go into the menu system and enable bluetooth on the phone, then you can find bluetooth in the System Preferences of your Mac, once it is turned on have it search and it should find it.
