Not sure whether this game is worth the 1000G, because of the reputation you might get for playing a little kids game lol.
For instants, when I went into the rental shop (Blockbusters), I went up to the counter and asked whether they had it in, they said no.
As I went back to put it on the shelf, I had these kids (about 11-12yrs Id say) laughing at me because I was gunna rent TMNT.
BTW, im 16 , so I could see where the two kids were coming from lol.

Plus, most people on my friends list would probabl laugh at the idea of me playing TMNT :P

I'm 26 and rented it; I don't care what others think though. The game isn't all that bad, i mean its fun and easy just really short. Definitely not a game worth purchasing, but renting sure. Don't worry about what some kids think, they're probably the type who get a game then sit there and play it forever (reason why a lot of young kids are on Gears) so they can learn to "pwn" people, meanwhile you'll be boosting your score 1000 points.

i rented the movie and the game at the same time. I'm also 26 and was a huge fan of Ninja Turtles back in the day so i have no shame at playing this new TMNT game or watching the movie :)

btw the movie was pretty good, it had slick cgi. too bad the game was kind of lacking IMO.

Look at my gamer card. I am 31, have 2 kids, and plays alot of 'kids' games. I rather enjoyed some of them too. My kids love the fact I play alot of games so as everyone else says, forget the snotnosed brats and get the game, cause it all comes down to what YOU enjoy playing. ;)

Of all the kids games to rent, TMNT is the last one to be worried about. Ur 16, so it was before your time a little bit, but Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, for a lot of us, was a big part of our childhood. I was a HUGE TMNT fan, so it doesnt bother me one bit playing the game.

Then again, I've played games like Open Season, Surf's Up, and Cars as well for the points :p

I loved TMNT when I was a kid. Turns out the only reason I like them now is because I'm a gamewhore.

RENT RENT RENT. Tim and I beat it both completely through in and hour.

And people these days need to let go of other peoples opinions when it comes to things like this. Think for yourself and forget about what anybody else thinks.

I absolutely agree.

Rent the game. Play it. Unlock all the achievements. Return it.

I played it and finished it and I can care less about what the next person thinks. Hey, I played Cars and Open Season too! A game is a game and these games carry achievements. I'll play almost any 360 game, except for Final Fantasy.:p

I'm 24 and I rented it.

I thought it was a great game. Easy as hell, and not worth buying, or renting for anything more than 2 days. I beat it in about 4 hours (with breaks, hell I'm married, I can't sit and play all day), but I realize other people have more going on, and it will take longer.

Also, it was a nice nostalgia game for me. When I was like 10, TMNT (then Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles :) ) was great and had just come out, so I had to watch the cartoon and get the action figures and see the first and second movie. The third was a bit after my time, and I was in the 16 year old, that stuff is for kids mindset. Plus the 3rd movie sucked.

The game brought back a lot a lot of good memories for me though.

It also got me thinking, if they were teenagers when I was 9 or 10, that means TMNT should now mean the "Thirty-something Mutant Ninja Turtles," but hey, that's just me. Maybe that's why it's just TMNT now;.

I just rented it today, I'm 27 and was a huge fan of TMNT back in the day when it was huge. I always liked Raph personally, he's the badass of the group. I'll pay money to boost my gamer score a bit, $8 isn't that big of a deal to me. Of course I just signed up for Gamefly so I don't have to pay $8 to rent it for 5 days, I'll pay to boost my score as well as just rent games from Gamefly that I want rather than buying them, it's much cheaper that way.

Despite the fact that a lot of this forum is dedicated to getting a higher gamerscore, I don't think getting beats on kids who enjoy one or two games is fair. They're allowed to play it for however long they want doode, maybe they just don't care about gs, and that's their choice. At the end of the day, it's a game.

Hell I am 25 and I worked at GameStop when it came out, I had tons of people over the age of 20 buying it for the Nostalgic factor, Hell even I checked it out, its not the best game on the Market.

But if you are that Worried about what someone else will think of you because of the Games you play. Well then just Stop playing games. Last time I checked I play a Game because I want to have fun, not look cool or anything.
