1) Lt. Kim (Gears of War)- Stabbed through his chest by RAMM after killing a ton of Locust with his machine gun.

2) Moss (Splinter Cell: Double Agent)- After a dramatic struggle to live, Sam Fisher hits him to the ground & Snaps his neck

3) Carmine (Gers of War)- Moves out of cover & gets head shot.

4) Sgt. McCullin (Call of Duty 3)- Wounded after bomb goes off & gives his final words to Cpl. Dixon. "Tell Guzzo, to go to hell."

5) John Hodge (Splinter Cell: Double Agent)- Enters Iceland Geothermal Plant against orders. Gets caught by a guard but surrenders, only to be gunned down by the guard as you watch when Sam Fisher enters the Geothermal Plant.

2) Johnson (Halo) seeing as I've followed the whole Halo story I hated seeing him die, but he deserves a mention.
3) Gail (Lost Planet) owned by a massive snow creature.
4) Carmine (GoW) is it not common sense to check for enemies before standing up with a broken gun?
5) Darth Vader (Lego Star Wars II) seeing Darth Vader die as a Lego is more heartbreaking than in the film!!

In order of recollection.



1. Kaiden from Mass Effect.
A really good character, but I choose Ashley's life over his. I felt a strong emotion at the end of that cutscene knowing he's dead because of my decision, but after the sex with Ashley, I had no regrets.

2. Martin from Oblivion.
Didn't really see this one coming, but hey, he turned into a dragon and owned Mehruns Dagon, and got me an achievement.

3. Carmine from GoW
Pretty comical character. Got popped pretty early on and made me laugh.

4. Halo 3's Big Three
Chief, Johnson, and Keyes. I know there's speculation that MC didn't die, but for this thread's purpose he did. Johnson and Keyes death came unexpected to me, and shocked me.

5. My Whirlms from Viva Pinata
Damn Dastardos kept smashing them open!!!!

2. Mr. Burns. (The Simpsons) I know he doesn't actually die but the fact that it takes 1 punch to beat him is pretty hilarious.
3. General RAAM. (Gears Of War). The flamy lava type effect is pretty damn cool.
4. Bullet Train. (CSI: Hard Evidence) "Shocking" good fun.
5. Luca Brasi (The Godfather). His death ingame was exactly like the film which is always cool.

1) Sgt. Paul Jackson (Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare)-Survives initial nuclear attack, succumbs to his injuries/radiation poisoning a few minutes later. :(
2) Kaiden/Ashley (Mass Effect)-Everything begins to go to shit on Virmire, and as you go the save whoever is at the AA tower, you learn that the other one is in trouble as well, making you choose who lives and who dies. :(
3) Jenny (The Darkness)-You find out that Paulie has your girlfriend, so you go and decide to save her, too bad The Darkness doesn't, and forces you to watch her die. :(
4) Andrew Ryan (Bioshock)-Atlas tells you to kill him, so you go and find out that he's your father, AND you're being controlled! Andrew hands you a golf club and orders you to kill him his lasts words being "A man chooses...a slave obeys". :(
5) Cliff Hudson (Dead Rising)-Psychopath who thinks you're Vietcong, after defeating him, he comes to and tells you what happened. He suffered from Shellshock, he dies and Frank closes his eyes for him. :(

YAYAY, all the double agent ones are really nice, especially #5, u enter, and he gets executed. and of course Kim is 1 of the best deaths ever

i could have to change 4 to PROPHET TRUTH though from halo III, the arbiter slices him with the sword.

1. Gaz -COD4. The whole scene at the end of 'Game over' was pretty cool but Gaz' death got to me most.

2. Cliff -Dead Rising. Again a very touching death because of the situation he was in.

3. Adam -Dead Rising. The clown falls on his own chainsaws and still blurts out that creepy chuckle. Anyone who hasn't got this on their list obviously hasn't played the game.

4. Kaidan -Mass Effect. I honestly didn't have a hard time choosing who survived. Apart from the soldier ally achievement I was going for, I just can't say no to sex.

5. Doenut- Viva Pinata. It took me ages to get the Doenut and then it ate a sour candy and died. I've given up on it since.
