Call me a completionist or maybe its just my OCD but I had to have the full 1k in that game. I hate leaving games unfinished if I can help it.

Plus it brings a smile to my face when i'm comparing games with someone and theirs says 999 and mine says 1000.

It goes to show that you want that extra point no matter how tough it is, it also defies the logic that harder achievements get more points. But I still think it is worth getting that solitary point just for the 1000.

I don't know if I will go for it soon, I still need to do all of the other difficulties first. Wreckon Dracgon's guide should help anyone out with it though.

I have to say yes it is worth it. It is one of the achievements I am proud to say I earned.

One of the things I've always prided myself on is my ability to beat a game on the hardest difficulty. Whether it be Halo on Legendary, Gears on Insane, and heaven forbid, Call of Duty on Veteran (man that was a bitch) i always try to go for it, even if it isn't worth achievement points (if the games actually good). I'm playing through this game on hard on the last level right now, but i plan to push through hell mode when i get there. I love a good challenge! :p

you have to get the last point. 1000 just gives you the sense of completion and satisfaction. Plus if your a perfectionist you also need to. Although the gamer designers are probably laughing at you.

Points mean very little to me now, meaning my overall score doesn't bother me. Instead I have changed to a completionist, and therefore if I was good at this game (found it fun but I am crapat shooters) I would have probably gone the full 9 yards and completed it on Hell mode.

Well look at it this way Having 1000/1000 shows something .. and gives you bragging rights that you trolled through the most painfully toughest difficulty for 1 point .. its a pure bragging achievement .. i have it so NA NA NA NA NA :) and i was the very first person on the sites leaderbords with the full 1000 and Number 1 in Canada (don't bother looking on the learderboards on mygamercard cause i changed my tag).. but playing Bulletwitch on hell mode was driving me insane its was so friggin hard .. you died almost instantly , but once i finished it and seen that ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED pop-up i was very very pleased with myself. so i say do it it you want some self-satisfaction !

To each their own I guess, some players are completionists others aren't. But its gamercards like yours which make all those long hours of completing games worth it.

I haven't played the game but when I do I definitely will go for the last 1 point achievement. Even though my completion percentage sucks, I just really got into achievements not that long ago so it's not bad for that reason and now I am a completionist...the number of 1000's I have is more important to me than my total gamerscore.

If you are a completionist like a lot of people yes the full 1000 IS worth it. However, if you're a complete gamerscore warlock you would move on to the next game.

I thought it was worth it, then again I really enjoyed Bullet Witch so much I've beaten it like 6 times under a week of owning it XD

Although at same time, I was trying to get 15 hour achievement, although even after I've beaten Hell Mode (Level 3/4 is quite bitch on that mode, thankfully Level 5 is still easy) I don't get it, so I had to play it again (on lower difficulty, ofc - Hard Mode anyway.) and unlocked it after :P

Now I'm done with Bullet Witch, I think I'll just trade it back for something else...^^;;; I've played it 6 times so much I'd be able to remember EVERYTHING in it...*adds it to my 100% completion list*

I do think that 1 point is worth it, even though it'll mess up my score (like others on here, I hate it when it's not something that ends in 5 or 0, and since I've been unable to get the Mortal Kombat online achievements, finishing off Bullet Witch will throw it off again), just because that 1 point shows insane dedication to this game. I know most people don't like BW, but I love it to death... and I doubt there's many other achievements for so little that mean so much.

After all, you can look at a guy's tag who's got 999, and say "Damn, he's good. Lots of points." Looking at one who's got the full thousand, you can instead say "My god... he has no life. How do you kill something with no life!" ;)

Now I just need to get it back from my friend, so I can actually finish it. :(

Depends on the game, if I like the game so yes worth it, but if I didn't like the game I can leave it at 999, 400 or something that feels ok.

Never played Bullet Witch because it didn't look any good so in this case I would guess not worth it :p

I rented this game from gf and will most likely get the last achievement for 1 point. If it left you with 998 that would make my gamerscore even after all this time it's been tainted by graw. Only then would I pass.

Hell yes it's worth it as now it's on my 1000GS list. Secondly, if people look at your list and see 999GS on Bullet Witch they'll think one of two things: a) He's not good enough to get 1K or b) He can't be bothered to get the last 1GS. I personally don't want people thinking either one of those things about me so I just stuck it out for the 1K GS.

But everyone's different, it's up to them ^_^.

im horribly OCD myself but id much rather get the 999 and then use the time i wouldve spent getting 1 stupid point on another game getting a few hundred. 1000 points on 1 game might be impressive... but id rather have 1599 stretched between 2 games in the same ammount of time.

Hell mode is reasonably easy since this is ur 5th time thru , you already know everything, for completionists only, lol If u dont't have a ton of 1000s on your list it's prob not worth your time

I like the idea of having uneven points for completing the hardest difficulties, just so we can see if someone has not completed a game on a certain difficulty level by looking at their overall GS.
