Okay, anyone sick of people abusing the characters with huge swords (i.e. Siegfried, Nightmare, etc.)? Honestly, while I was working towards No-hitter, a large chunk of people I faced had the Siegfried/Nightmare style, which means abusing the distance advantage, and continually comboing the everloving crap out of you. I can't stand that.

Nightmare is my least favourite to fight against, and in ranked matches of course you have no way of knowing who you are going to face. You can beat him with just about anyone though if you learn that fighter inside out, I always find Xiba a good choice, but also anyone who can rush in and pummel them like Maxi works, they hate that.

Nightmare doesn't seem that bad to me, because despite how much power and range he has, he telegraphs his attacks quite a bit, but yeah, Siegfried is pretty awful to fight against. There's no reason any one character should have that much power, speed, range, and mix-up with his stances.

Like Brengun said, getting in their face with someone with a brutal close-range game is a great way to screw with them. They still won't be pushovers, but you'll stand a much better chance than letting them keep their distance and poke you to death.

Siegfried is annoying at points with his long fricken sword. Shit grows a foot by the round.

Annoying as they are, most of the time you can read what move they're going to do next, so guard impacts are normally easier to perform on them. I just generally try to rush their ass to keep the distance short so I have the advantage.
