Academia 400 AF or the Steppe?
Steppe is sporadic with different enemies and it's CP,
Academia I usually get 350-500CP a fight and all fights are easy and easy to find.

I'd say the steppe. Grinding in the Grave Ridge area (sunny weather) allows you to accumulate Potent Orbs from Buckaboos while leveling. Grinding in the Clearwater Marshes (sunny or rainy) around the island lets you rack up Potent Essences and Potent Crystals (frogs and plants respectively).

If you don't need any materials for the future, then choose whichever you can find/kill fastest, which would probably be Academia I imagine.

The island? Do you mean across from the ridge, I can't seem to get over there.
Don't you have glide or something?

You get there by talking to the red (or yellow is the important one) cactuar statues. They mostly need to be found by moogle hunt and some only show up in certain weathers. The yellow cactuar statue is in the lower left of the grave ridge area and that'll teleport you to the other side. Finish the quests there and you'll unlock chocobos and then you can just hope over the valley.

Academia 400 BY FAR, if you have a turbo controller. You can turbo down the A button, setup the Relentless Assault or Tri-Disaster tactic, and go to bed while it earns exp and gil for you.

Uh, I haven't ever seen this. Would you mind posting the video? There's a fragment skill that allows you to glide but you don't use Mog for it.

Also, if you're grinding CP, you should aim for the Bonus CP fragment skill which doubles all incoming CP from fights.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one who is capitalizing on this.

I mean it just looked like they were using Mog, but you're probably right about the fragment skill.
