Has anyone read the graphic novel Locke and Key? I've read the four collections that have been released all over the last month and a half and I find it to be insanely entertaining.

Basic synopsis of the set up is that a father is murdered and afterword his widow and their three children move to his childhood home in small town. They start finding a variety of keys in the house that have a variety of magical powers. For instance the first key discovered opens a door that when someone passes through it they become a ghost. Their body remains lifeless in the door frame until the return to it. A mystery unfolds involving the father's past and these keys.

I love the characters in the books. Each character, both the main ones and the supporting cast, just feel real to me. And a lot of the situations and story lines have left me intrigued to the point where I can't put it down. I was one the edge of my seat for the last two issues of volume four. It had a hell of an ending.

I normally don't buy individual issues of comics but I'm not sure I'll be able to wait for the last two collections to come out in this one.

I read it on my iPad but couldn't really get into it.
