Price drop for sure. This is definitely a wait and see title for me. And although I've lost a bit of faith in Square in recent years, I'd still like to check this one out eventually. But not paying full price. That's for damn sure.

I'll be waiting for the reviews first. Xbox Magazine already gave it a 9.0 so it's off to a good start.

Anyone know how long this game is by the way? Can I do everything there is within a week?

Trophy guide on ps3trophies says 40-60 hours to platinum. It should be the same to 1000 GS. That involves fighting every enemy, seeing every ending and exploring every corner of the map among other things.

Fair enough, but with XI and XIV being MMO's, X and now XIII receiving a sequel, I'm thinking Square is putting their effort in the wrong places. It wouldn't be realistic to expect something that can match Final Fantasy's glory days (IV-IX as far as I'm concerned), but XV needs all the focus it can get.

I know many consider it one of the best FF's but although I thought it was excellent I never really warmed up to it as much as anything between IV and IX. It was amazing in some aspects, but I completed hated Tidus as a main character and the Sphere Grid wasn't really my favourite leveling system either.

^ I think 10 is my favourite because it was the first FF game I played. For that reason it has a special place in my heart and I'm a bit too bias towards it... admittedly it isn't the best.

On topic, you didn't include just buying it after the release date in the poll ... which is what I'm going to be doing. :P

I probably would have waited for the price drop, but I have some vouchers leftover from christmas that I'm going to splurge on it instead. I'm really looking forward to it!

Tiduss resonated with me I guess. I had dad issues as well (mine was more so never there) and I'm also a sensitive guy (see emotions) so I understood his character and liked him. :\
