WP7 having issues since the Metro dashboard update?

Just wondering if I am the only one - since the update went live last week I have been getting many "the marketplace content is not available" messages when I am trying to read or send messages through Live to my 360 friends. It isn't happening all the time, about 40% of the time and it had never happened until the update... so a coincidence or has the update made something go a little wonky in my phone (LG Quantum)?

I have been getting them sometimes when trying to buy games/apps. Not all the time probably 20% of the time, still a pain in the butt.
