I'm a Giants fan and I'm rooting for Bonds to break it! You know how our season has been...not much to cheer about.:(

I think him tying it will be a bigger deal, because its taken him sooo damn long to get this close. I'm sick of all the media coverage of each game, "Bonds goes to the plate, the crowd is on its feet!..oooh..strike three."

Ya I mean it is amazing to see the all time hr record broken and he did it legit most of the time, but I don't respect him as much because of the roids.

I really hope neither even happen, but of course they will. Like, I hope that Bonds could just like break a bone or something so he'd be out for the season, or something like that. But when if he breaks the record, that will be bigger than him just tying it. But someone who used steroids to become what he is versus someone who used pure muscle and skill to become who they are, just can't be compared.

I'm not a baseball fan, and all along i've been against him because of the steroids allegations. Recently i thought to myself that no matter how huge you are with the roids, your hand eye coordination has to be amazing and it takes a TON of skill to hit how many he has.

However, i agree that he should get hit in the head in the next game and become a vegetable. That way he has no recollection of what he did during his life.

The biggest deal will be the breaking of the record though, and even though i'm not a fan, I want him to break it at home so he actually gets more applause than boo's. Regardless of the circumstances under which he "boosted" to get the record, he should get applauded for his efforts, etc.
