Ok now I don't intend to sound offensive in anyway, but i dont know if its the american way of playing or whatever, but this has me really stumped... seriously guys I know how to play chess, so why do all my games keep ending in this gay Stalemate BS and what do I do to avert this?

when its a king all by him self then he has 21 moves to survive before the game ends in a stalemate(tie..no one wins)...capture the king before his 21 moves are up and u win

It is also a stalemate if you trap the other person where it is their turn and they can't make a move without moving the king into check. So especially when you have it down to just their king you have to be a little careful in cornering him.

It will glitch into a stalemate when a check wasn't available when you were a pawn but then you reach the other side and become a queen. So try not to force checks with newly formed queens, you can use them after a turn though.

With this in mind, don't try doing the exact sam emoves over and over. For example, you move your rook to the right and put their king in check. They move there king to the left, and then you move you'r rook to the left. This game takes serious planning!:p

I have yet to get a stale mate but I did trap my friend into a Checkmate and the game said Draw. It bs and we just continued to laugh about that and I beat him in Mancala 32-8 and it said "you cheated a bit so the game was scored a loss" by the funniest thing I have read while playing a game.

I had laid a beautiful trap and work my pawn all the way to the other side for a promotion to queen and a checkmate and i get a stalemate. and the king's men had plenty of moves. Dammit farfanoogin!!!

yeah ive been denied my achievement 3-4 times after whiping out all the pieces in chess. oh well, guess i'll just have to keep trying.
