Blacksmithing

I know its not out yet but can anyone explain to me how I can start? I want to do this as soon as possible. Yes, I know it will be a stupid question after general gameplay but i was hoping to go in with it in mind even during character setup. Making weapons seems very fun and cool to me. Hopefully profitable too...

Theres a blacksmith in the first main town that allows you to use his equipment (forge, workbench, whetstone etc) To do all these you need materials which can be bought or found as loot. Just a little tip for those starting out if you look under the workbench in the main town there is 5 steel ingots and 5 iron ingots that you can take for free!

What I was looking for....didnt expect a reply so soon. Too bad I cant get advance copies, lol. Anyways thanks for the help. Ill try in a few hrs. What town is it? I have a habit of assbackwards doing things and unless its "forced" Ill likley miss it.

You need ore from mines(use pickaxe) or from sellers to smelt ingots then use ingots and leather (from hides) at the forge to create armour, weapons and jewelry then use the grinder to upgrade weapons and workbench to upgrade armour. So, ingots, leather, leather straps, jewels=weapons, armour, jewelry. Then you need ingots and leather to upgrade weapons and armour to better conditions at the grinder and workbench. You can use all the above at all cities/towns for free.

Sorry can't for the life in me remember the name? Im reading A song of ice and fire at the moment as well as playing this and they are all intertwining and confusing me hah :p. Apologies.

As far as i've noticed, though not used them much yet, there is a forge etc in every main city. Just find the local blacksmith, really not hard to come by at all. If you have enough gold you don't even need to go to mines and find ore, just use the blacksmith and local townfolk and make items, then come back in 2 days and they will have restocked.
