So it's been some time since the relaunch. Every title has two issues out now. I'm sure there aren't too many people who read ALL of them, but of what you did check out, what did you like?

Here's my report card of everything I read. Biggest surprises were definitely how good Aquaman was and how bad Green Arrow was.

A: Aquaman, Animal Man, Batwoman
B: Batgirl, Batman and Robin, Batman
C: Justice League, Swamp Thing
D: Resurrection Man, Detective Comics
F: Green Arrow

I might still check out I, Vampire and Fury of Firestorm: The Nuclear Men, both of those intrigued me. Obviously I don't read any Supers. :p

Aquaman
Batman
Justice League
Green Lantern

These all are the best for me.

I loved Animal Man, Grifter and Batman & Robin. My local comic book store just closed down though which kinda sucks. :(

Ouch, that sucks. I think the New 52 hurt a lot of smaller shops. They likely bought a few of every title regardless of who pre-ordered anything and even me who is a huge comic nerd only bothered with about ten titles. So that's quite a few that likely went unsold.

But I'm mainly Marvel so in that sense it did work from DC's standpoint. I didn't read anything of theirs before and now I'll likely have about six titles.

Yeah, I guess so. :( I only started reading the new 52 a week after the second issue of animal man was released and I managed to pick up the first two issues of any I wanted, which was pretty strange. Usually if I wanted to pick up an earlier issue, I'd need to find it somewhere online. I've not even tried Marvel before, I just like reading stories that friends recommend I read which usually consist of Batman or Green Lantern.

Animal Man, Justice League International, Justice League Dark or whatever it's name is, and the one about the Penguin.

I have a question - (directed to you, Pants Party!) haha. I want to get into Batman but not sure where to start. I was thinking maybe Frank Millers "Batman year one"? I'm looking for a modern take on Batman (the video games got me interested). how about the "Jokers Asylum" series? Any good? I'd like to read about all the villians and such...Sorry, I know its a broad question, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'd say my favorites of the new 52 are Animal Man, Batman and Robin, Swamp Thing and Justice League Dark. Especially Justice League Dark, it's nice to see Shade the Changing Man and Constantine in DC proper after a good number of years.

Started reading a few of the titles last weekend, so far my favorites are:

Batman and Robin
Catwoman
Aquaman
Batman

Like the OP, I am mainly Marvel and decided to the The New 52's a go, glad I did!

I would get into the New 52 Batman, the idea of the New 52 is to entice new readers basically while sticking to the canon already made. The writing by Scott Snyder is brilliant and when it comes to big events alot of the Batman books revolve around that one.

Totally agree, make New 52 your base and use that to find out what characters you're into and familiarise yourself with certain artists and writers etc etc.

I've been quite slow to pick up New 52 stuff especially with the Batman universe. I still haven't made up my mind how much I'm into it. I started with Batgirl because I'd heard Barbara Gordon was reprising the role. When the New 52 first hit I was really getting I to Birds of Prey so obviously I was a bit concerned about the loss of Oracle, but it's not too disappointing I'm at peace with it having started to read it.

I have one major gripe with New 52, I'm sure it's one people are sick to death of hearing but.... Harley Quinn. I mourn her. I adored her original character, I cosplay her, collect her merchandise and relating artwork. I just can't accept her new persona. I will still pull a Kevin Smith and name my daughter after her, but I miss her essence.
