For those of you that have started it, is it much harder? I'm guessing so by what it tells you when you unlock it. It's basically hard mode (which is fine).

From what I've read on these forums...

it seems like it's just like hard mode from the first game. i.e. no counter indication (the flashing over the head of an enemy that's about to hit you) and probably taking more damage per hit.

yeah thats pretty much it but since you have all upgrades from the beginning it isnt too hard...i rushed through the main story in new game+ in a few hours and there are only 2-3 semi hard places

just make sure you got the a+b special combo and get used to the critical hits...this way you can hit an enemy 3 times and one more enemy with critical hit and you have an x5 multiplicator and the special attack....2 enemys down+3enemys every 3rd hit

Sigh.. Useless comment. I have the game and have finished it. I wanted to know about New Game+ because I have a choice of it or mopping up stuff in my finished campaign. (Yes it lets you keep playing after the end credits, just load up your game).

You've finished it already! That was fast. :) If you're a 100% hunter, I'd say just do it anyway. At least you know what to expect.

I have no real interest in getting the full 1000/1150, so I'll probably just do everything that's left now I've finished the game and maybe do New Game+ at a later date (Read: post Battlefield 3).

You say his response was useless? what about this post? was peoples responses going to determine whether you play it or not?

If I said it is hard as hell and I can't do it, you would be like pssh it cant be that hard and fire it up and play. If I said its really easy, you can breeze through it, you would fire it up and play. So why ask questions about something you are going to play regardless of the answer to that question. Thats more useless than play it and find out, which is the most resonable answer there is. Because what could be easy to me (which it really is) could be frustratingly difficult to others.

Blah, blah, blah.. I started to fall asleep. Just so you know I haven't started New Game+ and that's almost 6 days after finishing the game. Going to get everything in my normal game post completion, then maybe start New Game+ before Battlefield 3 hits. I hope this is ok with you ;)

Edit: and I also found your post to be useless.

Is NG+ a set difficulty? What I mean is, is NG+ after hard mode completion = NG+ after medium difficultly completion.

Yea, it even has its own button in the main menu

okay great. I knew it had its own button on the main menu but I wasn't sure if the difficulty scaled from your previous playthrough difficulty.

If New Game+ is even slightly easier than the first game, PLUS you get all upgrades you had...then it should hardly be a challenge at all. I started the last game on the hardest difficulty and it felt like I was playing on most game's normal mode. Minus challenges of course which took a lot of time, practice, patience, and mostly luck.

Im not great with using all the gadgets or countering without the sign about their head, add in the fact they do a lot of damage and it feels like they absorb your attacks...I cant even get into the damn courthouse. LOL.

I am giving up on NG+ at the moment, maybe I will come back later after I enjoy some more great games that have been dropping like crazy.

If you played through on hard in AA then you'll be fine with New Game +. There are several points when you'll be super frustrated in some of the later fights but just take a break, come back, and you'll pass it.

Awesome, But I did actually answer your question with the best possible answer, so Im glad you found that information useless.

It is however difficult you find the game to be, which is true about every game. Its easy for me, but I say it is easy, and the guy that cant even get past the 1st fight says bullshit. So........... yeah.

What made this even more sad is you had already beat it, had access to NG+ to find out then still asked. Thats just..... well I would say lazy, but making a post took more effort than just starting it up.

You can call me useless if it makes you feel better, but I have helped more people on this site than you have posts. The fact is, reading the same clutter new threads that are made for the most trivial reasons gets really really old.

So posting in them over and over makes you feel better? GREAT!
