I've just completed the game, can I still unlock achievements on this gamesave?

I'm asking this question as I could have got 2 more achievements in this game save before I finished the game but stupidly missed out on them!

The first achievement I need is Ultimate Horde, however, I missed one of the Minion Army upgrade items back in Mellow Hills, the one you can see to the left of the Waypoint. I think the only way to get there is through the Halfling Slave Camp - can I still get to this after completing the game?

The next achievement I didn't get on this gamesave is the Minion Multitude achievement. Even though the Tower Heart is broke and I can not see how many more I need for this achievement, will everything I kill in the dungeon still count toward this achievement?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Im pretty sure that he isnt talking about gamesaving. Read his post carefully, he is talking about his exsisting save, not a gamesave.

Just to clear up any misunderstanding.

I have no idea on the answer however, as I have not played overlord yet. Im sure someone will help though. :)

Yes, you can. You'll have to hit continue after the credits, but you can still go poke around, although if you go back to the place where the boss is, he'll want to fight you again.

I added this to the FAQs, it was answered elsewhere in the middle of a thread. Once you beat the game you can reload your file and you will be back in your tower, everything else in the game is as it was before you fight the final Hero except for the buildings in Heaven's Peak and the Spawning Pit in your Tower.

All of the other achievements can be unlocked, except the story progression and corruption achievements. The corruption achievement requires you to get to 100% or 0% before you fight the final Hero.

When I went through the game on the first time, I did not know that once you fight the 6th boss you could not go back to your tower without fighting the last boss. I beat him, but I still did not have the 2 achievements you are talking about. When I beat the game, I was still able to see the amount of minions I had, I dont know if you beat it on good if the tower heart does not break.

Anyway, I got the arcanium armor which made my overlord very tough and made him cary the maximum amount of minions (50), then I would go to the desert town and take out 50 browns and sweep over all the crates and jars. You have to do this a few times to get all of your browns fully equiped. That should get you that achievement.

for the next achievement, I wen down to the dungeon in the tower and just did what everyone on this forum says to do, just go in to the green beetle match and go in solo and hack them up. You get about 70 green life force every round. This can take a while. It took me up to 3-4 hours to get the needed 10,000 minions.

So to answer your question, yes you can get these two achievements after you beat the game. Hope I was able to help you.

Actually .. you can still get 100% corruption even after you fight Kahn .. it just depends on what "corrupt" deeds you haven't done.

I think I remember that if you at least "Supressed Spree" then you can finish off all the peasant kills post-wizard to get "Enemy of Mankind," .. you can also torch all the homes in Spree/Heaven's peak post-wizard.

Can't think of any others that aren't really story-dependent, but I know you can do those two on a continue.

Oh .. forgot to mention that if you DO raise your corruption to 100% (on a continue) after you've already finished the game it requires you to fight the wizard again to credit the achievement.

For the minion achievements, you don't have to actually complete the game, they're state-based. I think that the 100% and 0% are the only two that check only when the game is complete (aside from the Wizard achievement of course).

That is a pretty good find, I never bothered to find the Wizard again as I sensibly did the achievements before the end of the game. FAQs will be updated if necessary.

I beat the game with 0% corruption but my mistress broke the Tower Heart to help me toward the wizard. I can't see how many toward my 10000 I have done. :(

Yea .. after the tower heart is cracked it's a pain .. but still doable. Just keep farming minions and it'll hit pretty fast (I tended to nab 50 greens and just run pell-mell into poison beetles in the dungeon. I'd lose 5-10 but gain back 75 in under a minute .. bit faster than setting up guard markers)

Also no it's not possible to go from 0% - 100% in the same save file. There's a point when you have to commit to good/evil (it might be the food in 1/2ling den, not certain if you can gain enough corruption later if you return the food) .. lots of quests contribute to corruption over the game (Returning Statue, Letting Slugs Eat Elves/Rescuing them, Choosing a Mistress, etc.)

One thing that is handy: You can ONLY get the Tower Master Achievement with an evil game .. so get them both done at the same time (and Minion Multitude to boot) .. just follow the walkthrough in the FAQ and it'll detail everything that HAS to be done for both achievements (and you can farm minions for your new game before the heart is destroyed).

Sorry for the bump but I just need to know the answer to this question. I have been doing this game as an Evil Overlord. My Corruption at the moment is 80% and I am just about to fight Khan. The only 2 things I have left to do to gain Corruption is to "Kill the Traitor Peasants" and "Kill 1000 (approx.) peasants" I know I can Kill The Traitor Peasants when I defeat Khan but is there anyway to find any more peasants and kill them before I defeat Khan and the Wizard? Also, is it possible to still kill 1000 peasants AFTER I've killed the Wizard?
