I saw it in the theater and I have had a bootleg copy for at least 2-3 months now that was good enough quality that it looked fine on my 120". So you didn't see it a week earlier than I.

Same here, I had it on DVD about a month after it came out in England. Cinema quality but slightly crappy sound.

In the USA, does Blockbuster show films in the stores? Over here most of them have a TV and the staff just play whatever DVDs they feel like, so you can just sit in there and watch new stuff as it comes out =D

I never said I saw it earlier than anyone, said I got it earlier. I also saw it in the theatre and I've had it downloaded for a few months now, but I'm talking legit, fully packaged two-disc special edition goodness.

I get bored of a movie after I've seen it once, no matter how good I think it is, obviously I just expect everything thats coming and so it bores me. Explains why I don't actually buy any DVDs anymore. Guess thats just me.

Is it actually the only good thing about Blockbuster? Surely there some other perks :p

Psssh, you forget there are 'other' ways to obtain it. Got it on 7.22 and in HD no less.

One of my best buds use to work for Blockbuster as well. So many games and so many movies...for me! I'm not talking about "renting" it either.:p

@Pants - sorry, I didn't realize the keyword was "got" before anyone else. If you are talking about the dvd then I guess you do win. Personally I'm going to get the HD-DVD ;)

Yes I have a rear projector that goes up to 300" but it's damn hard to find a wall that big and the picture gets dim because it's not like the bulb gets any brighter and you are spreading the same amount of light across a bigger area. Think of a flashlight where you can tighten the beam, when the light is focused on a smaller area it appears brighter. 120" requires me to lower the lights pretty far to see things well, which is fine because that's how I like it.

I don't game on this anymore though because I had logged 2200 hours on it in the first 9 months and had to replace the bulb. I play on a 32-36" (not sure, don't care) Wega in my bedroom mostly, so it's not even as glamorous as the 65" Mitsubishi that my son plays his 360 on. Btw, normally 10 year olds don't get such big televisions, but when I replaced that television with the projector I knew I wouldn't get enough reselling it to make it worth it so I moved it into a room that's rarely used and set it up for him & his friends.

Best thing about working there is after you quit and you know all the little tricklets on how to get things for free.

Sorry i had to do it! That is cool that you got the 2-disc special edition before everyone else. Are there any cool documentaries and behind the scenes stuff? Personally i would like to see more on "the immortals" that being my favorite part :) Blockbuster i guess is good for some things!

That is badass pants, I have to wait til tuesday but when i get that sucker in HD its gonna be sweet. Pathfinder comes on the same day :D
