Hey, I've beaten the game with Full Corruption/Tower Master and I restarted for Zero Corruption. I have all the hives now and I don't see a reason for me to do the whole Heaven's Peak scenario. I am thinking I should be able to clear out the nodes in Evernight and pass through Oberon to the Golden Hills and onto the desert after that. Can anyone confirm if this works for a speed run??

Also, I encountered a strange glitch at the end of my first playthrough. I didn't get the achievement after killing Kahn. That is strange indeed. I was skipping the cutscenes cause it was close to midnight so I'm thinking that might have something to do with it... (hope I get it on this run-through)

You need to beat ALL of the heroes. Even if you went straight into the Golden Hills, you still need to beat Sir William to return the wedding presents to Goldo so that the Brewery opens. You cannot skip parts of the game just because you don't feel like doing them, especially when you need to do them to open up other parts of the game =D

Okay, I didn't know if there was a specific reason you had to kill the prince or not. I believe you said in another post you can get it down to 8 hours on a speed run so I'm just looking for ways to cut some corners. Thanks for that, I'll probably do Heaven's Peak next then so I can shoot right into Evernight and on through Golden Hills from there.

How about that glitch I mentioned, isn't that weird?? Did you have anything like that happen to you on your plays??

I got it down to 8 hours by cutting out all the pointless things. I didn't bother finding all spells or gold bags and didn't upgrade my equipment until I needed Arcanium. Don't bother with Durium, Steel will be perfectly fine until you get to Arcanium.

I never came across the glitch, just don't skip cutscenes.
