what is the best way to level up on my player

i played and loved it last year but it was a pain trying to hit 80. but I just read the guide someone posted and I saw somethings that sounded good i never did before:

save all milestone goals for key games

put all points on defense and offensive awareness

i'm a point guard and my in game rating goes up fast for mainly assist, rebounds (upgrade my vertical, cheap), and goodshot selection

is there any other tips that anone does that generates better results for skill points? Thanks!

I definitely always save my milestones for key games and make sure I play my best on those games. Also new to 2K12 are those dynamic goals or whatever that pop-up during play. Make sure to complete those and the regular objectives. Other than that, as a point just keep making and taking good shots, get assists, try to get a couple steals and/or blocks (should be able to if you're a decent size guard with good vertical). All those will you get and maintain an A+ rating every game and maximize earned skill points.
