Beating HOPE archive

I thought I would post this since there wasn't much information else where.

I tried to beat it with the controller countless times always reaching level 6-8 and dying. My reticle just wasn't quick enough.. I tried it with the Kinect, and beat it first try. I strictly used the "machine gun" (pink rapid fire) throughout the whole thing, and once you reach I believe 8.. there are 3 giant blocks which are yellow with blue inside them, DONT SHOOT THEM. you can surpass them right up, with no troubles.

I honestly just flailed my left arm around in a circular motion being cautious of projectiles. anyways, if you have a kinect, put the controller down for this one archive and do it with kinect, your troubles will be over. :)

Glad I am not the only one!

I have yet to complete the HOPE archive at all, and I have only been playing with a controller so far so will be interesting to switch to kinect. Thanks for sharing this, I will try waving my arms around like a nut case!

Would still love some video guides on this if anyone fancies sharing =)

Looks like I need more explanations. There's first of them after the green blocks with one pink cube (like L letter) in stage 7 or 8 (I don't remember). It's not possible to surpass it right up - I always collide this shit no matter how far in right up corner I'm aiming. The second one may be skipped as you described, and the last one disappears after 4 shots of pink gun. If you don't shoot, the block does not approach.

So how to beat the first expanding blue-yellow block? :-)

Good to know! I've yet to play this game using the Kinect, but I'm sure after a few attempts I'll get the hang of it.
