View Full Version : Enemy of Mankind Peasant Farming!!

I thought this was going to be a royal pain, but I managed to figure out a shortcut that makes farming peasant kills easy as hell!

Note that this works POST-Wizard kill (I.E. finish the game with 85% corruption, then continue) ..

Ingredients:
Finished the game (don't know if it works prior to, depends on peasant spawns)
Have about 10-15 Green Minions
Have about 5 Blue Minions
Heaven's Peak - City Waypoint

Teleport in, yank some minions, and then waypoint them at the top right side of the stairs down you are facing. There should be two priests and two peasants to your left, and a priest and peasant down in the courtyard in front of you.

Once you have your minions set, use a spell (I like inferno) and roast the two peasants to your left. They'll be resurrected, then attack you. Your minions will leap to defend you and kill them off. Priest will rez, peasants attack, minions defend, etc. etc. You can also yank the peasant from the courtyard to you (but he needs some encouragement) .. kill em once then after he's rez'd lead him back up the stairs.:uzi:

You can hang out and collect all the lifeforce/gold by running around the area (it racks up quick) .. or walk away from the TV for a while. I'd advise you to check on it every so often, though, because sometimes the priests can screw up and you have to teleport back and reset everything. I got about 100-150 kills in less than 10 minutes using this method, and saw the Enemy of Mankind pop up while I was wondering if this would work (didn't know if only Spree kills counted).

I threw some blue minions in there just in case the priests managed to kill off any of my greens (they didn't) .. and I only used about 10 greens .. didn't want too many to overcrowd the area. Your mileage may vary, but it was a LOT faster/easier than teleporting back and forth to Spree for 12 kills every few minutes (including loading screens).

Great strategy man, lol yours seems to be alot better then mine was. I hung out in the heavens peak market district. Id come out of the sewers and kill the peasens there, then head back into the sewers and repeat. It took a god awful long time to reach 100 kills. lol glad someone has a better srtar then i did :D

Are the people that the priests resurect soldiers or peasants? Before I read this post, I was playing through the game yesterday on evil and after I got the priests on my side, I was by the stairs and the soldiers were just standing on the stairs. I sent my minions at them and they kept getting resurected. There are about 4 soldiers and they did not fight back. Do these guys count as peasants? Is this the trick you are refering to?

The 'soldiers' you are referring to are actually Fallen Knights, they are regular enemies that just stop attacking you. Peasants are normal looking people who usually don't have weapons, the people in Spree and those in the refugee camp outside Heaven's Peak are peasants. Go and check them out if you want to see what they look like =P

The priests also revive any dead innocent that is within a certain range of them, this includes peasants, fallen knights and other priests.

Thanks Zef. I have been through the game once already. Im going through it again on evil. I just noticed last night when I was playing that those soldiers kept getting resurected, since they were not attacking me I forgot that they were actually enemys.

Yea, as Zef clarified .. after you clear Heaven's peak (quests and whatnot) you can return to the city and none of the enemies will spawn (at least until you kidnap Jewel, then her boyfriend will pop up angry) .. these are all normal peasant kills (green icons when you target them).

I did this all post-wizard .. but I'm pretty sure this would work at any time after you finish Heaven's Peak .. in theory. I might test it out later (I'm running a good game, but I can create a separate save file to test it when I'm out of Heaven's peak)

Quick question. Do the priests ever disapear? The reason I ask is that yesterday when I went back to do some peasant farming, there were no priests there and no peasants either. I dont know if it had to do with the part of the story I was on which was right before you fight the hero in havens peak. I did not check to see if the priests are back once he died. Since you said that you did this post wizard I am sure they should be there. I will check it out tonight.

Thank you Brigade. Excellent tip.

I would like to add that you don't have to finish the game and then do your thing. I went to the city with 85%, killed the 3 floaters and setup the respawn boosting. After approx. 10 minutes I got the 100% and then finished the game.

After beating the game I found that they tended to respawn behind and to the left of the Tower Gate. You can't see them when you teleport in, which makes them easy to miss. Just turn around when you go to the Heaven's Peak City Tower Gate and they should be there.

Otherwise I don't think they pop up again.

Thank you Zef for clearing that up for me. I will try that peasant farming trick tonight. It sucks that you cant see how many peasants you have killed. I know I have more than 100 though.

Thanks this sped up the process a lot, I got tired of running back and forth to spree =(
This also helped me get the "farm 10,000 life force" achievement, I just stood on a peasant as he died 1,000 times ^.^

Whereabouts is City Waypoint? It isn't labelled on the map they give you in the box.
