Racing across states (cannonball ?)

Watching the trailer of NFS: The run just reminded me the topic about racing across different states like the original cannonball.

what are your thoughts ?

Cannonball Run is a pretty good movie. I love how there is finally a racing game similar to that. As you can see in gameplay it has your place and there are like over 300 participants. On a side note does anybody know if the Pontiac Firebird will be driveable. I've seen it in videos but nothing on the official site.

yeah that was what i was thinking to between Cannonball and Smoky and The bandit either way looks like it will be fun
